It is not arrogant or bigoted to assert a belief in the truth of a single religion and to deny the truth of others. It is simply makes sense. Take a look at the claims of religions; the teachings are incompatible and cannot be reconciled.
It takes twisted logic to believe that God would reveal himself and say "I am God alone and you must repent of your sins and be believe in my mercy" and also say "You must do these 5 things and hope I that I let you into heaven" and also say "You will just go on being born over when you die until you get to a higher plane" and say "I am in everything and just believe in yourself". That would presume a schizophrenic deity.
The only logical positions are either all religions are wrong or only one religion is correct.

do I believe that will happen? I highly doubt there is a god... but that is only becuase I cannot think of how one can be, logically. But I do believe every religion has its place in the world, and the fact that I am no better than everyone else because of my religion... But I don't think a god would do that to someone... It does not seem right.

Every religion implies as much, or there would be no particular reason to choose that religion over any other.
Of course, this is the wrong way to look at it; every individual might choose his own religion based on the consonance of its theory and practice with his own temperament; but this is hardly ever the way it works in practice. In the first place, most people are grossly ignorant of all religions including their own - when they're informed, they're misinformed. They just go with the superstitions they're brought up in, so bigotry tends to be the rule; and what worse form of bigotry could there be than the concept at the core of most forms of religion as "understanded of the common people": that one's own cult is God's Chosen, and all outside are damned to hell or the equivalent?

God has been reaching out for a relationship since the beginning of time and people do what you do, deny him and live life for yourself based on your own standards.
We can believe there is one correct religion because there is 1 created universe created by 1 omnipotent God and therefore only 1 correct religion.
We cant dilude oursleves into thinking that we can save ourselves by good deeds and we cannot further delude ourselves into conceptualizing God and Heaven into what we personally want and feel them to be. God is the objective base for truth and he has revealed that truth through Jesus Christ and Jesus said he was the ONLY way to God.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -Ephesians 2:8

No. I believe that whatever Gods exist will judge us based on what is in our hearts -- on our compassion, our honor, our courage, and our conduct.
I also believe that any religion can be a valid path to the Divine, and that atheism and agnosticism are also honorable perspectives on the mysteries of life. The fact that no single God has gotten out a universal memo to ALL people, in ALL cultures, in ALL parts of the world, indicates to me that whatever Gods exist accept multiple ways of approaching Them.

There is no such thing as a "right" religion -- they are all bogus. There is no evidence to support either any theory of god, or of the existence of some sort of afterlife.

I don't believe in "RELIGION".
I believe in God.
I follow the teachings of the Bible...which by the way tell me I need to be "born again" and that I won't get to heaven on good works alone....
The two go hand in hand.

If god is just you will have nothing to worry about. But soon you will get many people arguing that god is not just and you are screwed.
