dunc: Yeah, but remember the bible is written by Jehovah's followers and even in this book it is said that his victory won't last forever.

As the Demon Asmodeus told Solomon:
"So ask me not many things; for thy kingdom also after a little time is to be disrupted and thy glory is but for a season, and short will be thy tyranny over us."

The Devil defeats the ‘God of hypocrisy’ in the end.

1 John 2:17...

"The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."

I guess the devil's the "LOSER!"
Too bad. So sad.

At present yes! Biblical proof? Revelation 12:9 ' So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him'. 1 John 5:19 says..'We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one'. Also shortly after Jesus' baptism the bible says that he was tempted by the Devil..Matthew 4:8-9. 'Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me' . If the Devil wasn't in control of the earth, Jesus could have said that the Kingdoms weren't his to offer as God is the ruler. Will it continue this way forever? The bible says of the future that God will end the Devils reign and bring peace to the earth. Whether we choose to believe this is up to us individually but if the bible is correct which i believe it is, then its also important that we do what God requires of us now.

Which must be a paradox to you since Christians worship the true God who created the devil who in turn rejected his God. Man's inherited rejection of God came in the garden of Eden through Adam and Eve. A spiritual genetic trait called sin. And who was the culprit that caused the fist human beings to ever disobey the God who created the universe? The devil.

Getting real here now. Any one addicted to drugs. Who is the one that is lord over the addict? The one who supplies him the drugs. That idiot owns the very soul of the man enslaved to that habit.

Got the picture now? It's not nice. God did something about it when he had his plan of salvation revealed that his only Son would fight against the devil and his work of disobedience. God did that because he loves us and was willing that He take our place and punishment for sin, that God himself said man must suffer. And by acceptance God's gift of salvation, men are freed from the god of this world and are free to worship again as they would have before the fall. In a clear and clean relationship with the God of this universe.

Capitalization of the word "God" is arbitary by translators. The bible does in fact say Satan is god of this world. Even Jesus was under his authority while here. This is why Jesus was compelled to subject himself to Satan's tests. It is the Teacher who tests the student, and not the other way around.

Yes, because a world is used for the overwhelming abundance of evil we have in the world. Right here in one of the greatest countries ever built we used to buy and sell blacks using them as property. The Supreme Court even ruled that they were property! And to this day we cut babies out of mothers and kill them in our pride and fear. That is not even to mention the unpeakable things that happen in less developed countries!

The world is evil and it has its own Michael Jordan and Peyton Manning of evil, and he is Satan. He is a master at evil and he does it well!

devil is lived spelt backwards, as evil is to live

I guess if you lay on your death bed with regrets and think that you never really lived then yes, perhaps the devil was your god
or at least your ruler.
Id love to see the verse your referring to, but cant seem to find it.

Life is nice, The Bible was written by men.
Peace............
