If faith is a gift from god, and most people haven't been given the gift of faith, is it really reasonable to think that god would send them to hell?

Isn't it more true to say that those who have been given the gift of faith but refused to use it would be the ones going to hell?

If you think about this, it would mean that those condemned to hell would only be christian unbelievers, not atheist/agnostic unbelievers or those of other faiths.

Any kind of moral teaching or anything.

I don't mean stuff like the trinity... Nobody could figure that one out. Plus it's not explicitly stated in the Bible.

Please be mature about this question....

Hell, by that definition, Hitler was "good" (he did what he wanted), Stalin was "good", EVERYBODY was "good"! But then "good" doesn't MEAN anything! Only if "good" means that there are certain things a person won't do (i.e. murder, rape, etc.) does the label have any meaning! The way Christians use the term, God can do ANYTHING and still be "good", which is ludicrous...

I also understand that if a woman is being "uppity", the husband should kick her out of the bedroom for awhile before he does anything physical. Right?

I know this lady at work and we get onto the topic of religion often and the good word of Jesus and God. I asked here whether she has a bible and she said she doesn't. I am leaving my job soon to move elsewhere and I would like to give her something significant as a sign of everlasting friendship.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Y: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard.

As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and
ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

I ask this question because everyone seems to have their own version of reality which is not common to all. For every religion, there is a different or alternate reality. Reality should be defined as non-supernatural, realistic, physical, proven, and true(kind of what science represents), yet truth could be defined as an opinion when expressed individually. Reality should be something common to all or it cant be considered the true reality everyone can share. My question to you is, how do you define reality and try to explain it without an individual opinion.
