Abraham and Ibrahim are more closely related, because the latter is from Islam and the former is from Judaism and Christianity. The one thing that "might" tie all three together is the notion of creation. With Abraham/Ibrahim came the creation of the covenant between the Lord and His people. Brahma is a creator figure in the Hindu pantheon, but more in the simple creating of everything rather than the forging of a specific relationship with creation.

Abraham, Ibrahim and Brahma sound similar because it proves that their original source was one and the Abraham and Ibrahim seems to be modification of Brahma . You can call them 'of the same race'.

What about this? It's much older than Abraham and the rest!
At least 8,000 years BC.
I′MBRAMUS (Imbramos), a surname of Hermes (Eustath. ad Dionys. Per. 524; Steph. Byz. s. v. Imbros), in which Welcker (Trilogie, p. 217) recognises a name of the Pelasgian Hermes, who went from Attica to Lemnos, Imbros and Samothrace, and is said to have been identical with Himerus. He is seen on a coin of Imbros, with a patera and a knotty staff.

They do sound something alike if you twist them hard enough.
So it may be a good thing the "Abraham" in the Bible was actually named "Abram". The longer version is a nickname given to him by God when he was in his 90's.
