We are all born with different capabilities. None is more capable than any other, when you think about it; it's just that societies value certain capabilities over others.
For example, a great artist and sculptor would have been a goatherder in ancient Israel; it was blasphemous to make 'graven images' in that society.
Today, people that can cut grass well with a scythe, making whole golf courses evenly shorn at 1.5 inches high, wouldn't find a job; greens keeping is done with riding mowers.
Living among others in a society that places different values on various capabilities, each of us has to find a way to maximize the value of our good capabilities and avoid losing out where we haven't developed other capabilities.
That's what makes the world go 'round, imo.

No it is not fair. It's not fair for you to say that some are more capables than others because it's not that some are more capable than others it's just that The Lord gifted us all with distinct abilities. I might be a better singer than you, but you may be able to play the piano better than I, although we might be talented in both areas. Therefore that makes both of us great among many nations.
God bless my dear.

If you believe, as I do, in reincarnation, you know that spirits "choose" to incarnate into a life with physical/mental limitations. Regardless of whether it is to learn some new lesson or repay a karmic debt from a past life of wrongs, the life with a handicap has a purpose and represents movement toward ultimate enlightenment.
But even if you don't embrace reincarnation, what does fairness have to do with it anyway? If everything was perfect in life, what would we have to strive for and achieve? People with handicaps or some other limitation that makes them below the average (whatever that is) can learn more from life than those who don't have to work so hard. Similarly, those of us with blessed lives can learn from those less capable that strive to rise above their challenges.

This is my personal view,
Yes some people are born disabled, some are born with nothing wrong but nothing realy good either, and some are born with great abilities.
Those who are disabled have a diferent lot in life than those with great skill, thoes with great skill should use them to spread love and peace over the world...
every one has there own difficulties, some are more visable than others.

that is not true. just because someone is born differently than others doesn't mean their are less capable than someone else. EVERYONE has special qualities about them that are unique. It's up to you weather you use them or not. If you r are born into a poor family then it's up to you to make something out of your life. Just because your born into a bad situation doesn't mean that you can't change that situation.

Some people, like the blind, deaf, lame, mute, and others who are considered "special" in our world today are actually closer to Heavenly Father.
It sort of balances out- they're closer to Heavenly Father, yet they are slightly pitied here.
Does that make sense???

If there were a kind, loving, caring creator then no it would not be fair. But there isn't such a being so fair has nothing to do with it. It just happens.

That assumes that capabilities are handed out for a reason. There is no such system. As such it's neither fair nor unfair. It's just the truth.

1 corinthians 1
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."[c]
20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
