There would be a ripped up bible in the gutter and that is that

Nothing more than would happen if you ripped up the dictionary and threw it in the gutter, if your soul doesn't belong to God then you get to spend eternity will the devil but if it does I don't see why you would want to rip up a Bible, but I mean whatever floats your boat. It's just a book, the words in it though will always be and have always been so I don't think you ripping one book up will do anything to the Christian faith or to you.

Probably the same thing as if you just left it alone.

God judges the heart. Actions are merely a reflection of feelings. That you rip up a Bible and throw it in a gutter is not nearly so important as the things in your heart that caused you to do that. A Bible is replaceable. Your heart is not. He seeks to change hearts.

The bible is a book. The message that it contains cannot be destoryed because it's in the hearts and minds of believers. Nothing is going to happen to you if you decide to foolishly rip a book apart. The message will still be there.

Same thing as if you ripped up the collected works of Sydney Sheldon and threw them into the gutter.

Nothing.

Nothing. It just paper you would have been ripping. What do you expect to happen to your soul if you rip paper? Nothing. Try something else, if you want things to happen to your soul.

Did you do this? I think a person who would do this has a hard heart toward God. I doubt if anything would happen to you right then but it sounds to me like this would be a person who rejects God. Better to give it to someone who may enjoy it. However, it is not the unpardonable sin.

Well, you would lose the value. Go and sell or trade it at a used book store. It's a book, an antholgy to be specific. It has no more power than you give it.

God will express deliver a lightning bolt. An evangelist told me so. But, express delivery is a little slow nowadays...God hasn't upgraded to email yet.
