I am neutral of faith (basically agnostic) but my husband would like our first born to be christened Catholic in his family tradition. They are not strict church attending Catholics and I was never christened myself. Would the Church have a problem with this fact? And what is required of us spiritually to have our child christened Catholic. I was told that you would have to go to confession and church a lot afterwards etc. I know basically nothing about it! HELP!

I don't see how there can be such a thing as a Christian homosexual. Its the most contradictory thing I've ever heard. It states in the bible: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
So can anybody justify why there are Christian homosexuals when is says clearly that they will not inherit the kingdom of God??

I have seen this questioned posed to Atheists multiple times. I am wondering why this question has been asked so many times, perhaps Christians have found some happiness I am unaware of.

So, let me try to narrow down this pleasure you are in with a few questions.

* Are you always comforted by the lord? (You might be depressed, but also feel hope at times)
* Do you always receive a positive feeling when you think of God?
* Do you find yourself to be in a happy state of the mind more often than not?
* Do you hold on to resentment?
* Do you find yourself more likely to lash out at a particular group of people?
* If applicable do you find yourself justified to hold a resentment.

Last question, if you were a non believer before you became a Christian, have you noticed a difference of how happy you were before you converted to how you are now?


Anything else you would like to add would be nice.

if the healing that Benny Hin,Orel Roberts and like preachers teach is real why don't they go to the childerns hospitals so GOD can use them to heal the little childern of the painful sicknes why do sick people need to follow them around to get prayed for? If GOD gives you a gift and tell's you to go heal the sick in the name of GOD .Seems to me you would go where the sick people are .Instead of standing on a big stage and asking for money to pay for air time,travel,fancy clothes,expencive homes, cars,with money that mostly poor people give them in support of their ministry. just seems to me that it would take less money and be more efficient to go where the problem is .I mean if god told me to go out and plant corn and when it's ripe he tells me go out and harvest the corn.would it make any sense for me to go out on a big stage and start collecting money for expencive clothes,cars,houses,tv,air time,jets ! i should get dressed casual,go to the field,how can i harvest from the tv stage

MAKE SURE YOU READ BEFORE REPLYING...alot of people ask are psychics real then ask them to tell thier future or win the lottery, but as i said in a previous answer, that image you have of psychics is nothing but hyped up media garbage. Real psychics often time cannot even controll thier powers, see alot of things connected to thier life, and dont even know that they had a vision untill it came true. Just because we can see the future sometimes doesnt mean we know yours and everyone elses. For example my first vision was when i was 13 and i saw a specific pop-up on my computer that I have never seen before. I didnt know why I had the vision, I didnt suddenly know everyone elses future, but i did know at that point psychics exsist and i was 1. To me the problem occurs in two main places, the first is when people by into the garbage they see on tv of a fraud trying to make a quick buck, and the second is not understanding how it really works, so it leads you to jump to your own assumption

Did they believe that their repent and good work cannot be accepted unless someone die on the cross?

Did they believe that man is going to hell by "default" and they were waiting for some one to change this?

If not them why call Jesus a gift & way call his message "god news"?

Is it good news to know that you and your ancestors were deceived by God for thousands of years?
