I have seen this questioned posed to Atheists multiple times. I am wondering why this question has been asked so many times, perhaps Christians have found some happiness I am unaware of.

So, let me try to narrow down this pleasure you are in with a few questions.

* Are you always comforted by the lord? (You might be depressed, but also feel hope at times)
* Do you always receive a positive feeling when you think of God?
* Do you find yourself to be in a happy state of the mind more often than not?
* Do you hold on to resentment?
* Do you find yourself more likely to lash out at a particular group of people?
* If applicable do you find yourself justified to hold a resentment.

Last question, if you were a non believer before you became a Christian, have you noticed a difference of how happy you were before you converted to how you are now?

Anything else you would like to add would be nice.

Thank you =)

1)No
2)Yes
3)No, there is no difference in happiness levels, nor was I or ANY Christian promised happiness in this life.
4)Nope.
5)Nope. I only lash out at socialists, and That is a sport I will enjoy until my dying day.
6)Nope, and no Christian will tell you differently.

Yes, I was an athiest(maybe more an agnostic) for a solid 15 years. Happiness is kind of a hard term to define for me, but in all honesty, happiness is not what it's all about. I don't genuinely understand what you were hoping to learn with this, but hope it helped.

First of all lets be real and honest, about your idea that there is a such thing as a Atheists, thats nonscence, lets be honest okay, of all the information that you know nothing about, don't even know where to go look, can God live there? Okay "IF" your honest you just told me your NOT an Atheist, okay part two lets take for example a rocket, put the raw materials in a container and shake it up, can you produce that rocket or must you take that material and design and make that rocket, okay you have a creator and designer and thats God, last no country that you would ever want to visit or live in fails to have as its base the ten commandments [not suggestions] there the base for example of the USA, and so the ten commandments are real and so is the rest of it. As for pleasure, comforted by The Lord, you see we live in a World that has a total death rate, no one lives, and Jesus Christ the second member of The Godhead is MY WAY OUT, and even though i am not perfect i know God has begain a work in me and HE "IS ABLE" to finish it, i do make mistakes but Jesus says in 1 john 1:9 IF We confess our sins HE IS Faithfull and Just to forgive us our sins "AND" cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. find out more free on line bible lessons www.itiswritten.com bible questions www.bibleinfo.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless you

I am always comforted. Always have hope.
I even smile when I think of God.
I am usually in a happy state of mind.
When I pray about the resentment God usually shows me the way to let it go.
He tames my tongue.
Usually find that I am not justified in resentment.
I was born into a Christian home.
The more I pray and read and listen to the word of God the better I am.
