That's easy I know what the bible says but catholics should welcome homosexuals with open arms. Why were do you think the got the idea him let see who started 2 males having sex together ohh yeah that's right priests. I know your going to say that no that is only in the last few years nope do your research it has been going on a long time. All I am saying is that catholics should accept gays because in all probability they created the trend. I follow the bible to the best of my ability and I am not gay so I dodged that bullet but to leave you with a thought if this is true and there is no repent for gays then why are you talking about it better yet why do you care? All you have to do is live your life by god and you will be fine. It says nothing in the bible about going out of your way to complain about gay people. As for me I just like to mess with people gay bashers and racists are my favorite to mess with so keep asking dumb questions and I will keep giving dumb answers.

"nor thieves... will inherit the kingdom of God."
And yet the thief crucified beside Jesus went to Heaven.
Nevermind those Christians who have divorced and remarried, and are therefore adulterers. You don't see question after question about them, telling them that they cannot call themselves Christians.
Nevermind that Jesus said that what you have or have not done to others in need, you have done or not done to him - and therefore, every single time you see a person in need of food, drink, money, clothing, or a place to stay, and you do not provide it, you are being greedy. You don't see question after question telling these people - which amounts to everyone I have ever met - that they cannot call themselves Christians.
No, let's pick the behavior that you don't see in yourself (but I suspect most people who are so homophobic are so because they DO see it in themselves). Let's pick the behavior that you personally hate the most. That's the one we'll say disqualifies you from calling yourself a Christian.
Nothing less than hypocritical bigotry.

You are right, you would think that someone who is Homosexual and read that passage would understand right away that the bible is incorrect.
Maybe some homosexuals were raised in christian households and the hold is just too strong for them to let go of the religion, even though they know better.
It's sad that they feel they have to stay in a religion that preaches such hate, and hatred of themselves even, but I guess if they are out of the closet at least they are strong enough to be true to themselves and not let a book force them to live a lie.
Or maybe they care more about Jesus than about a book. Maybe they are true to Christ even though Christians hate them and try to deny them civil rights?
It is an enigma indeed.

What if you are wrong Josh? What if gays really didn’t have a choice about their sexuality? Maybe that’s why the bible says “Judge not or you will be judged”. If you like I can give you a list of sins and abominations that you personally do. They are all there in the bible for you to read Josh, so please try and be a little less judgemental of others. We’re all God’s children and he’s the only one who knows all the answers.

So does that mean that Drunkards can't be Christians?
Don't you all drink wine on a Sunday?
Sounds like a piss-up to me.
To quote back at you, doesn't it say something along the lines of those with a childish outlook will be the true inheritors?
No adult is truly childish unless they are a) mentally disabled (sorry, it's true) or 2) They are complete outcasts from society due to taking no adult responsibility in their lives whatsoever.
So, actually, anyone over the age of 13 (officially a teen and not a child) is on the express train to hell, I'm afraid.
How old are you again?

its a scientific fact that 90% of homosexuals are born homosexual which means that they dont choose to be that way its already apart of them now if god didnt want homosexuals and he was against it he wouldnt bring people into this world where they dont have a choice in the situation.
The reason i think like this because my cousin since we were only little he had all the gay qualities he always played with barbies never played with cars or dinosours or anything always the girls toys, he dressed in girls clothes since i could remember, when he grew up he dated girls to try and prove his fears wrong, but he couldnt, he was born that way he tried to be with a female but just couldnt. How could god turn his back on someone who tried but still couldnt go strait?
its not a choice its something that happens, god forgives all sins god forgives all, if you believe and you ask for forgivness i dont think god would turn his back on them.

The scripture you quoted is clear and precise (no room to guess); however most people make the mistake of confusing the Christianity of the Bible with the counterfeit Christianity that is practiced and accepted today. So there's no such thing as genuine Christian homosexuals, but there exists/counterfeit/pseudo/
artificial Christian homosexuals.

If you lived in Australia, and read the papers regularly for at least the last 7-8 years... You would be reading about priests being charged over sexual crimes against young boys over many years... Many of these cases are still in trial... These poof priests have caused some embarrassment to the Church ... All of them..(Church denominations). But the Catholic mob are the worse offenders.. I live in Sth Aust and can back up what I say...Today's Sunday Mail we have the Salvation Army now in a situation of abuse yet to be fully investigated....

i know it sounds odd, but i think its foolish to base all you ideas about Christianity on the bible, it was a different time. slavery is condoned by the bible, but the church says 'it was a different time', homosexuals say the same about that quote. a lot of ideas in the bible are a product of that time/culture, its not like god dictated it to the prophets. you can interpret the bible however you like, and that's how they interpret it.

Even homosexual people are afraid of hell. Sure, God says he doesn't like them, but they're gambling on the chance that he'll let them go to heaven. If you believe the Bible, what more can you do, right?
