I just want to see what some people think about the subject of suffering. Why is it here? Where did it come from? Can we do anything about it? Is there a way to solve our pain and suffering that we as humans experience?

I really worry about the people who report abuse on my more pedestrian questions. I fugre some of this crap must really put them over the top.

(With some questions, I fully expect the violation notice. But with others I can only shake my head thinking about the person who bothered to report it.)

God has showed me the truth, and has introduce me of some of his knowledge. However my dad dosen't know what i know, he dosen't pray! i try to tell him, and he seems like he dosen't want to hear it anymore. i keep telling him i know things! and he isn't listening.
i am afraid for my dad to go to hell, how to make my dad to pray? how can i help him now, before it's too late?

my husband has a "second job" that he swears it's nothing bad... but i have seen him with only 100 dollar bills recently.... he calls his job .....gigs.... he does this job at night and usually he finishes at 3am or later..... and it's not everyday..... the other day someone calls my house saying they wanted to speak to my husband and i asked who it was and he told me he was my husband new landlord... the landlord told me my husband just bought a new office!!! when i asked my husband about it he said it wasn't his, he told me that his friend asked him to put the place under his name because of creidt issues... i don't believe that... but however i left it at that..... i am soooo stressed out i feel like my husband is doning something behind my back!!! what do you think is going on.... by the way my husband is a very smart man he works in computers and has a great salary.... i don't understand whats going on with him....

Acts :15:20,29, specifically says to "ABSTAIN FROM BLOOD,"so why then do people take blood tranfusions. If a doctor was to tell an alcoholic to stay AWY FROM ALCOHOL, would it make it right for him, if he injectes it into is vein, God is d creator, he knows what is best for us, don't you think we should OBEY HIS COMMANDENTS AND TRUST IN HIM, Moreover it is evident that he created us, so he would know what we need and wat we don't need, afterall he is right, there is so many COMPLICATION WITH BLOOD TRANFUSIONS, U CAN CONTRACT AIDS AS WELL AS MINOR SICKNESSES SUCH AS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE & DIABITIES. So why don't ppl take alternatives? And it is scientifically proven that it is safer and better to use alternatives{no bood treatment, other substuted liquid). So why do people get mad at Jehovah's witnesses because THEY TOTALLY REFUSE TO DISOBEY GOD'S COMMAND, "TO ABSTAIN COMPLETELY FROM BLOOD"?

We all have an appointment with death, we all will die. Do you know you'll go to Heaven when that day comes? Have you told a lie, stolen anything, ever looked with lust at a woman (ladies, at a man) .. Have you ever used Gods name in vain.. well,, we all have.... -were all lying, thieving, blasphemers, at heart, guilty of breaking all Gods commandments. If when judged by the 10 commandments, we will all be guilty and on our way to hell.
Do you know what you can do to make sure you are going to Heaven? Do you know what you need to do to secure your place in Heaven, how to take care of the sin in your life and get Gods wrath off of you, and His grace on you?
God demonstrated His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners (breakers of His law *the 10 commandments) Christ died for us. Also why do thy strive to eliminate it?

Isn't it pointless to try? I mean no one going to listen to you... becuase someone somwhere no matter what is going to have a relgion.

A few weeks ago, at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, I witnessed some sort of ceremony that included Eastern Orthodox priests. In the front, near the altar were seated rows of what I think are Roman bishops in mitered caps dressed in white together with a few women dressed in black. Behind them, near the choir, were seated Roman priests dressed in black robes with magenta linings. When the ceremony began, the Orthodox priests and their leader entered through the front doors and were escorted to the altar with great flourish. Both heads of their churches greeted eachother and spoke in French, none of which I underst. I left before this was over as it was quite lengthy. Can anyone tell me what this was about, or was it merely part of the Pope's new stance with the Orthodox Church? Also, why would there be women seated with the Bishops? I scanned the Tribune and the internet, yet could find nothing about this, so perhaps this was not so special; yet the ceremony seemed to be so very special
