We are seeing miracles every day. We just don't think of them as such because we are used to seeing them. Doctors are healing when healing seems impossible, people who have spent their life as unbelievers are coming to believe in greater numbers than every before etc. Much is happening now. More than most people are willing to admit or want to know.

The Bible was not necessarily referring to modern day people. In the Old Testament times, God used so many things to show His power. He spoke through a donkey and used people to perform His miracles. The Bible says that man can do nothing without God. Everything we do for the glory of God is God working through us. Men cannot do great things through their own strength, but throught the strength that comes through God alone. In the New Testament times, God spoke through His son Jesus. These were the years that Jesus was physically on this earth. Today, God speaks through His Word and the Holy Spirit. I hope this helps straighten things out.

When Jesus raised Lazarus from his tomb, he had to pass through the experience of death all over again. When His followers bring someone from death to everlasting life, their spirit NEVER DIES!!!
Now, THAT, my friend, is the greatest miracle there could ever be!
