We dont. Its a great idea, and speculation makes us seem like better people, but blunt truth is that its not going to be solved. Maybe different countries' energy crisis, but the world? Not going to happen. I'm not a pessimist at all either, however negative that sounds, but first you would have to define the word 'solve' before anyone can answer such a question. If solving is just bettering, then there is a lot we can do, but if solving is wiping out, as a definite cure, then thats not going happen, especially because of country diversity. Different cultures value different types of energy, and different ways of life, even if those ways of life are sometimes looked down upon. Diversity is beautiful, and in this case, its a beautiful thing that prevents any true "solution."

Well, since your George, just remember that in your day, an *** pulled a plow, and people did what machines now do. People weren't all wimpified in my day. Everybody pulled their own weight, even the women. Everybody's so soft these days, depending on technology to do all their heavy lifting for them.

Well, what if you were lost in the wilderness, how would you survive? There's no electricity for you to use, no gas, no automobiles to get you to where you want to go. How do you survive? You have to rely on your wits, determination, guts, innovation, stamina, determination and faith.

So, in short, conserve and stop being so dependent on the natural resources and modern conveniences which only encourages and contributes to the wussification of America!

I'm sorry sir but I'm afraid we cannot do anything to solve that, at least not us, regular people, all we can do is save some energy at home, however most of us do this just thinking in the monthly electricity bill.
Why dont you advice your fellow president Bush, and tell him to stop that nonsense war of him that beside of having hundreds of people killed, he is also contributing to the increasing of global warming. In a few years we'll see the earth frozen.
Sir, I just wanna ask you something: why is this question in Religion&spirituality category??

Sincerely

Solar, Wind and Hydro (water) power. More Windmills, Solar Panels and Water pumps/wheels instead of burning coal, oil and other natural resources that are irreplacable. Don't cut down trees for paper, use computers instead. My school uses all computer, no paper assignments. Stop burning things releasing harmful chemicals into the atmosphere, causing the expansion of global warning.

The United States should wall itself in, and then just use its own resources to perpetuate itself. Solar, wind, geothermal, corn oil, petroleum, coal, nuclear. If we did all of this, we could leave the world alone, and it could leave us alone. I wish that happened.

...well, first, consider changing your name... second, check out Startech's Plasma Converter. It won't solve the energy crisis by itself, but it'll certainly soften the blow. not to mention, it solves another towering issue. trash.
