how to make my Dad to pray? (for muslims)?

God has showed me the truth, and has introduce me of some of his knowledge. However my dad dosen't know what i know, he dosen't pray! i try to tell him, and he seems like he dosen't want to hear it anymore. i keep telling him i know things! and he isn't listening.
i am afraid for my dad to go to hell, how to make my dad to pray? how can i help him now, before it's too late?

just remember always that he is ur dad---and try to make an appointment with him at least for 20 minutes and sit down and discuss it seriously with him in a respectable manner

You can never change a person by harping on what he is not doing that he should be doing. That never works.

What you can do is stay true to what you believe and let him see the change that it has made in you without pushing him to do anything. If he sees something in you that he wishes he had, he will take time to sit down with you and talk to you about it.

Otherwise, you just look like a smart-alec kid.

My dad is like that to. During Ramadan he ususally fasts, but regularly he never prays. He stills believes in Islam, but he just doesn't pray. I think my dad's just not scared to go to hell.

if it seems that communicating with ur dad is difficult then u can pray for ur dad to at least open up and listen to u. u can keep on persisting in talking about ur religion, etc. and hope it gets thru to him. if u approach him in the right way he will understand but you cannot force him to believe.

You can't force anybody bro.
You can only tell them.
If you told them then you have done your job.
Old people are stubborn and don't want to believe others.
First save yourself.
Then try to save your family.
Then try to spread the truth to others.
If they don't accept then at least you know in your heart and Allah (swt) knows you tried.

Its like how prophet rasullulah (saw) told his uncle Abu Talib that he should be muslim. But because he was stubborn he didn't do it. But rasullulah kept trying.

Keep reminding him to pray, but in a nice manner.

The last thing he needs is some immature, naive child preaching to him about the false answers to the mysteries of life.
If your god is such a great guy, then he'll let your dad into heaven for being good, whether or not he prays.
God is not that insecure.

Ultimately, you must respect his position as your father and approach him about the subject in a nice and pleasant manner. Remember the story of Ibrahim (PBUH). At the end, he told his father Azar "Peace be on you: I will pray to my Lord for your forgiveness: for He is to me Most Gracious." (19:47)

Are your prayers a reflection of your everyday life? do you have unconditional love in you yet?

I dont and that the hardest thingto do so save your prayers and do something good instead.

RELAX... stop trying to convert your dad. If you believe so strongly just be a witness with your actions. Pressuring someone to believe something won't get you the result you want.
