I don't know, it seems that a lot of the nice guys on this website are not really religious. Is anyone?

if the comforter is holyspirit then Jesus may say it like this
" you know the holyspirit that exist within us, he still be with you and will be called the comforter??!"

-but instead Jesus was talking about someone that the world still don't know, definatly not the holyspirit who they already know:
Jhn 14:17
the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

-only when Jesus leaves, the promise comforter will come.
John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

I purse my dreams, and keep in touch with the universe in complex ways.....

In my mind, I hear whispers that say, "I love you", and I wonder if this is some far away person who's really meant to be my one and only. I trust these whispers, and wish I could put a face to them, but destiny works its way out. I wonder if I'm a foolish dreamer or a participant in an extraordinary story of love. If true, can I rush the workings of destiny and finally find this love? Karma, or a soul mate from my past life, anxiously reaching out to me, feeling lost?

He is threatening us with eternal suffering of unimaginable pain, unless we worship HIM and follow all HIS rules.
Sounds like a terrorist on the most massive scale to me...

Why did you or do you still-reject Jesus from believing Him-who without something else becomes your god to worship, money, sex out of marriage, drugs, religions trying to earn your way to heaven-when Jesus says he paid it all and offers salvation and best friendship, John 3 and Revelation 3:19&20 promised in Isaiah over and over again---

what is your god=whatever one puts ahead of Jesus.
It is very rare for people to make real changes in their behavior based on previous mistakes. Often people make the same relationship about the Messiah Jesus mistakes again and again. It is helpful to look at the reasons why people seem to get stuck in a cycle of repetition. So, what locks you in and prevents you from learning from your own mistakes?

Praying for you-either way to go ahead with Jesus or to begin the start in new life born anew as promised above in scriptures.

It was originally God Spell and it had to do with magic and stuff. They shorted it in 295AD to Godspel and shortened it again to Gospel in 325AD. It originally contained the spells that Jesus did to turn water into wine and make the loaves and bread multiply, but due to the magician's code the Vatican took that stuff out.

There's much more that we don't know or understand. We discover new things everyday. How can someone be SO positive that there is no God? Or devil? Or Heaven or Hell? Is it because you can't see them? Also, many Atheists are so quick to call Christians brainwashed because of what we were taught as children, but the same people put so much faith in what scientists have to say about evolution. There are plenty of educated Christians who are smart enough to know there is something greater than ourselves.

do they get away with it. It seems the awful people have great lives and the nice ones often have awful lives.

My mom has been extrememly mean to me and others and has had a hard life. I am wondering it there is a connection. But then again so have I had a lot of bad things but am much kinder.

If they are saved, do they get away with the many wrongs they have done in not loving others and hurting them or does God teach them lessons in suffering or undergoing siomilar things that they did to others..in other words if they went off free eternally, do they still suffer in this life on earth or are some people off scott free. I need to know this as I have been devastated at her hands and other relatives and am feeling angry and wondering f life is just unjust and then the next life is gret if they are saved.

i have realized that God is foretold about who will come next. he foretold the children of Isreal of their coming messiah, but when he can (jesus) they denied him under whatever excues.

then again happend in christianity, they have been promised of the coming comforter (Muhammad), and when the spirit of truth came they denied him as well under whatever excues.

and we have been promised that there will be someone who will come Al-mahdi (the guided) before the return of Jesus. will you deny him too when he comes?

I went to a church last week in Pennsylvania for a friend's wedding. I took one look into the people inside and I was like, "WOA!!!!" At least half of them were "pleasantly plump."

Of course, I'm not saying all American Christians are obese, but I've definetely seen a noticeable amount amongst the adults...
