I'm a thin Episcopalian, and come from a family full of thin Episcopalians. Most of the people at my church are thin, too. But a few are overweight, and that's their business, not mine. If someone is heavy-set, the answer could be due to a number of reasons, such as medical issues, an inability to afford proper food (as opposed to cheaper "empty-calorie" fare), injury, weight gain due to aging, a lack of exercise, or a thousand other reasons which I'd be better off not speculating. When it comes to others' weight, the best policy is usually to mind one's own business.

by using fact Bible prophesies are being fulfilled and there is as lots wickedness now as in Noah's day. they did no longer beleive it him on the subject of the drawing near judgment the two. We nonetheless have rainbows for info yet this time the tip of the earth would be distinctive. Christians are not afraid to die by using fact they have eternal existence and don't adventure the 2nd dying. every time Christians are on the element of God and study the be conscious, they experience that Jesus is coming very quickly. Jesus stated no guy knoweth the day or the hour save the father yet He gave us signs and indications to observe for and that they are appearing everywhere. the international extensive church, government and financial device are already being positioned into place until eventually it incredibly is in basic terms no longer long until eventually now the beast potential will administration the whole international financial device and no guy can purchase or sell devoid of the mark of the beast. silly virgins is in basic terms no longer arranged and wicked servants will say "My Lord delayeth His coming" however the clever virgins and the dedicated servant comprehend they could anticipate and arranged for Christ's return every day. Even the international has observed issues are not particularly suitable with the earthquakes in divers places, famines, pestilences, and different such like that are on the upward push. We could undergo in strategies that 1000's of years of prophesy have been fulfilled in one week's time whilst Jesus become born and countless extra fulfilled in His short existence-span of 33 years. super are the mysteries of Godliness so the international will mock what they do no longer understand yet even sinners comprehend that something is approximately to ensue. The conflict in Iraq is a factor of it and how Israel's place suits into prophesies mutually as they miraculously stay to inform the tale inspite of great opposition from the international extra often than no longer. we are looking forward to the seven 3 hundred and sixty 5 days treaty to be signed and different issues that at one time did no longer seem conceivable yet now situations are shaping up so rapid in maximum of approaches that we are able to now see the probabilities of ways those issues can extremely come into being and be fulfilled in our lifetime. i'm hoping i'm waiting whilst Jesus comes.

Since most church goers are over the age of 40
perhaps that may skew the statistic.
Or perhaps there is something about your corner
of Pennsylvania.
Or perhaps just your parish.
You might be able to argue that the majority
of Christians live in Western society which is
generally heavier than, say oriental society...
But you probably weren't comparing with
the East, were you? You were comparing
church goers with non church goers.

If I went to a friends wedding, I would be looking at the bride and I wouldn't be making comments about how fat everyone in the church was.................plus you don't know that they were all American Christians.....Its too bad that's what you got out of going to a friends wedding!

America has a higher percentage of overweight people. That's not meant to be a slight on America, but it's just facts. If you travelled around to see all the Christians all over the world, you'd see that most of them are not obese, and are just a normal weight, like anyone else.

Those Christians are the Christians that don't practice Fasting (praying instead of eating for a set amount of time). I'm a Christian and I'm not plump.

"Why are such a large percentage of Christians...er...Fat?"
"Of course, I'm not saying all American Christians are obese..."
So which is it?
Why are such a large percentage of non-christians...er...fat? Probably for the same reason: Too much food and not enough exercise?

Considering that sixty percent of Americans are overweight, it's not just Christians. Anyway, climate, geography, social status, etc can all determine the average weight of a group of people. Maybe it's just people in Pennsylvania, I don't know.

Just by going into one church? That's hardly a representation of Christians as a whole. As long as we're 'fat in the faith' is all that counts.

Its just because they believe that God has blessed them and they can eat everything they want and not suffer any consequences! If you look in the Bible theres actually a diet that Christains are supposed to follow...
