I really wouldn't let yahoo answers decide such an important aspect of my life but really some people here do not do their respective religion a favor

I think the quality of theist appears to be lacking because most of us choose not to answer many of the questions hung out there as bait. I would hope that as Christians we put our faith in God rather than in fellow "Christians".
And by the way, I'm not concidering atheism.

I think most of truly religious people are not found here. The more faithful ones do not look for answers because they believe they have already found them. Generally, it's the lost or the seekers of truth that are found here. It's no surprise that there is a strong atheist population here. They're usually the one's that seek answers. However, when an atheist truly believes what they believe, I see no reason for them to be here other than curiosity or boredom.

yeah your spot on, i thought about giving Christianity ago, but really if the Christians on here are whats it all about( dont get me wrong there are sum good ones on here but the bad ones out number them the good ones) have of them insult you when you ask a genuine question on the subject because they cant give you a good answer so there reponce is to insult you, love and harmony, dont make me laugh, second what is religion good for, it only cause's war death and conflict, and there is a awe full lot of evidence that supports evolution, and the people on here that support evolution are very smart people and when they take the debate to religions they dont have a chance whereabouts the religions just come up with the same excuse's time after time, why do i want to become arrogant and selfish and threating people to hell, no thanks

No. Whereas I enjoy reading the answers of the atheists on this site, no one has offered me a compelling enough argument to completely abandon my faith, despite the fact that they do raise some intriguing questions. As for the religious people, there are many of them I strongly disagree with, but that's all right. Nothing that has been said on this site has significantly altered my beliefs one way or another (but I have encountered some truly interesting theology here).

Well, I'm pagan and I really like my religion.. I happen to like most of the atheists on here, and I do understand why you feel the way you do. There are quite a few religious people who really represent their beliefs in a very unintelligent way.

I "went atheist" a while back. I think that if I'd still been Christian, I DEFINITELY would've "gone" atheist after spending a few days here... and not because some Christians can be jerks but because the atheists put forth some really compelling arguments.

Oh please never let me lose my religion over the opinion of other people who allow cartoon "avitars" to represent them on a Q and A forum!! Not many of us here are authorities on anything we answer--it's just opinion. Form your own and then have the convictions to stand behind it--regardless of what faceless people (myself included!!) tell you on this website!!

The devil already owns "religion".....didn't you know that?....It's the followers of Jesus Christ he's afraid of. If you like your religion than what have you done for the devil lately?
