Only serious answers please.....In the book of Samuel Ch 28, Saul the first king of Israel pretty much was losing his mind so he went to a medium in order to speak to Samuel, who was dead. He went to the medium and the medium conjured Sameul and Saul spoke to him. Now, please shine some light on this. How is this possible?

We get this question here every day. How about you:
What if you realize you did not need to pry into the personal lives of other people and judge them for what they do in the privacy of their own homes? What if you realize that the time, effort, and emotional well-being spent worrying about how god sees you and others was really no more than acting like a paranoid schizophrenic with tin foil on his head? What if you realize you could have enjoyed your life without fearing hell and condemning others?

Atheists, how many of you used to believe these things, but have already realized they were not true or necessary (I used to)? Do you wish you could have some of that time back (I do)?

I asked two questions. Most answerers said God does not change; most answerers said God suffers (sadness at human sin is a form of pathos, of suffering). How do you reconcile this contradiction? Is God suffering eternally, changelessly?

But I want to hear your thots. If the words do not agree with the Bible I know God is not speaking. Sometimes it's a soft whisper,"Trust me" or "Read my Word." or "Tell me about it."It sounds like God, but maybe it's the pastor from last weeks sermon? It's not answers to questions. I have to ask for quidance and do the best common sense tells me trusting He'll give me the wisdom I need.

a christian ( which I am a christian) would come here to share God's truth with others....because we wish hell upon no one and we want others to know there is nothing more important than their eternal salvation in Christ Jesus....we do this because we love others and care what happens to them.

But why do athiests come on here to try to prove there is no god?
I mean, by someone actually believing that, how does it change them? How does it bring them hope and Joy? How does it fulfill them? Hope and Joy are the benefits of salvation in Christ....but even more, just knowing you are saved from hell, well of course that brings GREAT JOY! So I hope you understand this question....just wondering why some of you who do not believe, why you want us who do believe, not to believe. We have a good reason why we pray many believe...so what is your reason? I seriously am curious--not trying to sound better than you, because I am no better. We are all sinners.

climb out of their box and open their mind? if you ask a hypothetical question people cant crawl out of their box to answer with a hypothetical answer. any real reason behind this? or is it just because they never trained their minds to think outside like this?

In that time and age a woman had her place which was definitel not warfare tactics or manuevers. Do you really think she heard voices, had divine intervention or simply understood military tactics and manuevers in a time where a woman could not be involved nor respected in regards to military ventures.
