Personally I wouldn't want to be in the heaven of a god that would allow a hell.

If Heaven and Hell existed, and membership were determined by the system described by the Exoteric Church, I would go to Hell rather than spend an eternity with an entity who would enact such a system.
As a thought--there is a significant difference between watching a movie in which someone is flayed alive, and being flayed yourself.

I am hedging my bet that I am going to hell. There are a couple of reasons:
1. If heaven is filled with the religious believers due to their kissing of God's butt, then I have no desire to be around them and God having everyone brown nose.
2. Since God and the Devil are at odds, then why would the Devil do any of God's bidding? It makes no sense that the Devil would punish people for God, since the Devil can't stand God. So I would hedge my bet that hell will be a huge party.
3. When you get to heaven you have no more free-will or else God would kick you to hell for thinking on your own and possibly sinning. Don't want to be there if I can't think for myself and too worried that the God secret police will find me out.
4. What would there to do in heaven besides kissing his butt and making him feel good for himself and stroking his ego. I am just the wrong person to do that for anyone.
5. God throughout history has murdered and raped, totally against his rules. So that means in heaven he will get mad and have a temper tantrum just because something does not go his way and you will end up in hell. At least the devil wanted people to gain knowledge, but God did not want that for some unknown reason.
There are many more reasons, but those should do.

Even if heaven WERE boring , it's better than being tormented.
Our senses in heaven will be magnified beyond what we as mere mortals can comprehend. There will be new colors, sights, smells and sounds. We won't all be sitting around praising God 24/7. Also,I'm sure you don't realize, all inhabitants of heaven will be coming back with Christ at His Second Coming and we'll be back on earth with Him. He will rule and reign for 1000 years and then after Satan is tossed into the lake of fire once and for all, a new heavens and earth will be formed and we'll live with Christ forever and ever.
Why does this sound boring to you? Being tormented WON'T be exciting ,I can assure you ONLY because the Bible says so.

Considering that hell is by definition a bad place to live and heaven is by definition a good place, I'd choose heaven. Would you rather be bored, or in a world of skinless, blood soaked nightmares, clambering from the deep that clangers for the meat of the guilty? Thankfully neither of those places exist so I get the luxury of decomposing as a corpse and being eaten by worms when I die. Lucky me.

Well eventually you would learn everything there is to learn and experience everything there is to experience, eternal life would be the ultimate drag. No meaningful form of consciousness could exist forever under those conditions.
