As I study His creation, the only way it could have happened is by God creating it. The Bible is accurate in what it says about history and science, so why not believe it.

I don't believe in God. Here's why:
First, you have to define the term "God." The problem with most
theists is that this term is a moving target.
In addition, because there is no evidence either for or against the
existence of God, you cannot use deductive logic (a+b=c; therefore c-b=a). You can only reach a conclusion by inductive reasoning using the balance of evidence (90% of A is also B; C is B, so the chances are 90% that C is also A).
So to begin with, I will assert (and others may shoot this down) that the only RELEVANT definition of God states that he intervenes to circumvent natural laws.
If God circumvents natural laws, then it is impossible to understand natural laws. All scientific findings would have to include the stipulation, "it is also possible that these results are an act of God, a miracle, thereby making our research meaningless."
However, since we have been able to expand our knowledge of natural laws (evidenced by every appliance in your kitchen), the scientific method works in this discovery. And the likely conclusion is that God, at least the intervening kind, does not exist.
Additionally, if God is defined as all loving, all powerful, and all knowing, then it is impossible to explain suffering. Either God is not all loving (he acts sadistically), not all powerful (he cannot prevent suffering), or not all knowing (he created suffering by mistake because he didn't know the consequences of his actions).
If God is less than these and/or does not intervene in our existence, then he is either non-existent or irrelevant. The classic Bertrand Russell argument is that I cannot prove that a china teapot is orbiting the sun between the earth's orbit and Mars. But while I cannot prove this is not true, the evidence against it is compelling.
The evidence against God is equally compelling, and while it is not possible to prove beyond any doubt, it makes enormously more sense to live your life as if there were no God.
It is more compelling to me that humans have invented God (a) to help people deal with the pain and fear associated with death and loss, and (b) to reflect the thoughts of the ruling powers in a particular time. Because humans are always looking for reasons, when none were found, it was the natural inclination to declare the cause to be "God" (or gods). As the faith grew, miracles (coincidences) and laws were ascribed to this Divinity, and an orthodoxy grew up around it.
Now it seems unhelpful to believe in such superstition. The only matters that aid in our ongoing well-being are work, location, health, sustenance, and pure, blind luck.
So that's why I don't believe God exists. But do you know what? It's okay if you do believe God exists.

The biggest misconception to date is . . . . . . does God exist.
Yes he does. Do you believe is an excellent and the RIGHT question.
You will read many answers of no he doesn't exist, or you cant prove he exists so I don't believe.
Guess what . . . . . . . if you see it then there is no reason to BELIEVE it. That is exactly the point.
The big bang and evolution THEORY are our attempts to explain what we refuse to accept. That there is something more powerful than ourselves.
Many people will also say they dont believe in God b/c of the suffering in this world and God can't be all loving and what we believers claim or he wouldn't let these things take place.
Well who disobeyed him? We did. Who continuously disobey him. I do, we all do b/c sin is in the world. We have finally started to reap what we have sown.
Young girls are being mothers at a ridiculous age b/c we have taught her to be sexy at age 6 and wonder why she is having sex at 14, pregnant at 16 and ready to kill herself when shes pregnant again and is faced with having two kids before shes 20.
Young boys are not being taught to respect woman so not only is the girl above reaping it she is unwed to boot. How horrible is God for not helping the poor abused woman and children of this world. Whose fault is it really? When WE have destroyed the sanctity of marriage, use sex to sell bandaids, and have given everyone a way out of responsiblility with birth control and abortion. I feel for people in general that go through some horrible situations, God knows I have had my share. But I always have to point back to myself.
There are horrific diseases killing millions and how could God let this happen, when WE created some of these germs and diseases.
These horrible things are not happening b/c God isn't caring or loving. We are just REAPING WHAT WE HAVE SOWN as human BEINGS.
There are other beings you know that do not want human BEINGS to be loved by God nor go to be with God out of sheer jealousy. They are helping us right along. We are naive enough to believe them also. God loves us so much he gave his son to forgive human BEINGS, the other beings that have betrayed our Father are not so lucky.
Believe that God exists, have faith that he is putting this decision in your path, and hope and pray his will be done in YOUR life. The non believers on the day he returns will blame everyone else for their non belief. I would like to be a fly on that wall when they try to explain why they denied him: Well if you were so loving why didn't you save us earlier? Pretty self centered if you ask me.
God Bless

I don't believe in God because there is no empirical and conclusive evidence that God exists.
The concept of God as perpetuated by organized religions does not correspond to the natural world. It has no factual basis nor can it be understood through reason and science.

Yes i'm a believer in God. What is the alternative? Believing in nothingness? Is there evidence that there is such a thing as nothingness? God to me is the Infinite, It's all that was, is and ever will be. We are all a part of the Divine and the Divine is all a part of us.

I believe in god because everything on this planet was created by SOMETHING. By parents, by a seed, by a chemical reaction...
I have decided that the universe does exist.
Therefore all signs on earth point to the fact that something larger than our comprehension created it.
I just don't believe in all the hooplah that attempts to answer the unknown.

I believe for one simple reason: something or someone had to at least start the creation or evolution process and I believe that it was God. I also believe that he sent his only Son for the forgiveness of our sins. The latter, I believe because despite many pitfalls life has given me, I am blessed and loved by someone greater than any of us.

Why do I believe in God? No one will ever convince me that there is not a God. Surely there is a supreme being. We, (humans) didn't just happen.
