climb out of their box and open their mind? if you ask a hypothetical question people cant crawl out of their box to answer with a hypothetical answer. any real reason behind this? or is it just because they never trained their minds to think outside like this?
and why do people even get upset with hypothetical questions? hmm.... what do you guys think?

well some people were taught a certain way and they just tend to stick with it without questioning anything i guess it has to do with fear of the unknown it has happened to me too whenever i ask christians a hypothetical question oh well

Chippy, you asked what energy drink Jesus was. It is, in the smallest sense, a hypothetical question but it is incredibly limiting as far as insightful analogies or humor. Plus, you listed the best names in your question. You made it easier to make fun of the question than to come up with an answer. Now go to your room and think up a better one.

I'm just giving you an answer in response.
Hey you are the fourth person today who asked why people get upset with hypothetical questions. I like them - they're alot more fun then this constant evolution crap - I'm so sick of that -

youre asking a vague question. first of all everything is relative because there is nothing truly 100% hypothetical. secondly if some people were to think outside the box then it would force them to retink things they (think) they don't want to change.

i would just rather ask questions that i get answers to and loose them that way

Most people are mentally deficient. Besides hypothetical is too close to hypocritical and they don't think to use a spell check.

I offer a hypothetical "yes". Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Hypothetical questions are, of course, hypothetical, therefore hypothetical answers have no meaning.

Is this a hypothetical question? haha.
I can answer them Chip. BUT just so you know, it never gets me to "wonder" or second guess my beliefs. That is all. Not afraid to answer them---so BRING IT!
