That is a great question. I'm going to go home and think about it. Who knows, maybe there's an Aquinas lurking who can explain it to a poor Atheist like me.

After thinking about it, I guess the only rational answer (if you accept the premises that there is a god and that he is changeless) would be that creation is part of his nature. This implies that he is constantly creating. If this is the case, unless you accept that he is creating infinite parallel universes, there is only one conclusion:

Evolution!

Evolution is true and is necessary given what we know of god. If an intrinsic part of god's nature is creation, the only way to satisfy that urge is to interact through mutation and selection as life evolves - six days just doesn't cut it. Thus Darwin's random mutation and natural selection must be replaced by divine mutation and divine selection (although I suppose that the creative urge would be satisfied with the first and leaving the second natural would introduce an element of chance into what would otherwise be a somewhat boring exercise).

Just as God always is and was so His will always was to create.
Is that not easy to understand? How is this a tough question?

Since I started my present job my will has been to find another one. I haven't yet but at some point I will start another job. My will has been always to leave.

My sex is changeless (male) so does that mean it is impossible for me to wear a woman's hat?

I see what you think you are asking but you do not understand the concept of the Eternal God.

Semantics semantics lol

When we say God is changeless what we are saying is that He is ever faithful, ever loving, always just, dependable. He has freewill, He has VERY complex thought, He is a planner, very detail oriented. He has emotion. Even in the bible it says He loves, He angers, He is jealous. I think you have confused the meaning, or possibly a Christian spoke without knowledge. We are not perfect and many of us speak without reasoning it out. Sorry you were mislead or confused.

An excellent question! "Creation" should not be considered as a single act of will, but rather the nature of God; because God exists, the universe is possible. Similarly, because Luna orbits the Earth in certain way, we have tides.

Makes sense - God must have created before so it was one of His unchanging characteristics to begin with - Creator of all.

Hmm, you suggest He is ever changing and unchanging. That's worth at least a little contemplation I would think.

God has always been, therefore HIS will has ALWAYS been.
Sorry I didnt mean to sound rude in the beginning.....forgive me for that.
