i believe its empathy, philosophy and laws. what do you think?

it's certainly better than to believe something like; ''you HAVE to be good because God will punish you'' or ''you must be good so you can go to heaven''....etc

Lots of gems in there. But here is my favorite:

Second, ID critics allege that the theory fails to provide testable claims. Again, this criticism is demonstrably false: ID is eminently testable, has been tested, and is being tested constantly. As a matter of fact, ID needs no testing at all. The fact that design is the basic quality of intelligence is so self-evident that anyone who doubts it has to be exquisitely ignorant or entirely delusional.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha. This guy must be a real kick at parties.

I notice a pattern - someone asks 'can god make a rock so heavy he can't lift it' and happy little religious folks say 'Yes - he can do anything!' not even understanding that being able to do anything means he would be able to lift the rock, in which case he couldnt make it heavy enough...

I mean really fellow atheists, dont you feel its frustrating? Its like debating with 5 year olds.

Creationists: The real question is can God make a Universe that doesnt need a creator? Chew on that

There may be more than one answer, but one specific one comes to my mind and I am curious if it comes to others as well, especially Christians. Do you know your faith well enough to answer this?

I'm trying to do a history check to find out the origin of sprinkling in the churches and infant baptism. I know that in the Bible neither is mentioned.

it's his saint day today. before he was eaten alive, for the
pleasure of zee People, by lions from africa, he and another
christian girl slated for 'entertainment' fell in love for about
three hours as they waited their turn to be turned into
'entertainment'. she was forced to watch as he was eaten
alive, and her heart was eaten out forever, and then it was
her turn, to be eaten alive. those who follow the god of love
and even the unknown god did not die in vain. for today is
still st. valentine's day.

there was no pope, no bible, no enforceable code of morality.
murder was considered a 'cultural' activity. there was no
pro-life, people were no more than globs of protoplasm and
scientific atheism ruled the earth from day one unto doomsday.
what if the golden rule, really was, do always unto your neighbor
whatever the hell you feel like. what would life on earth be like?
heaven or hell? what if taking life was considered more moral
than creating it?

Atheists- Come on, do you really know christians that call you evil? I think you may over exagerate, then again I am not an atheist so I guess I would not know.
