Jesus would not have been allowed to TEACH in the Temple before his coming of age. Kids, whoever they may be , DID NOT do this! Jesus spent forty days in the "wilderness" a pseudonym used by the Dead Sea community (Qumran). Here he doubtless learned medical skills and various mystery school practises. The concept of Synagogue should be considered a `meeting of Jews for worship`, and NOT a building anything like today's Synagogues. Jesus lived during the era of TEMPLE worship, which following the final Roman destruction, became by necessity, Synagogue worship.

I am sure Jesus received a typical Jewish education being taught Torah and Mishnos in Yeshiva and synagogue. The statement in Luke, which says that Jesus was even in the Temple demonstrates that his parents raised him according to the laws of G-d, as his family annually attended the Passover in Jerusalem.

After his bar mitzvah he went to live with his great-uncle Joseph of Arimathea ( according to Traditions of Glastonbury) who was a member of the Sanhedrin and a Decurio, which is an official Roman title for one involved in tin trade in the British isles. From several historical sources, including those of Gildas Badonicus, it appears that Jesus lived with and traveled with his great uncle and was taught by him directly from the age of 13 to 30.

He studied in Egypt during his youth. When he came back "home" to start preaching he followed John the Baptist. After John the Baptist was jailed he gathered his disciples and they followed him. This is all documented in ancient history as well as the bible:

.Matthew 2:13-14 relates how an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him to flee to Egypt with his family.

Matthew 2:15 states that Jesus was raised in Egypt until Herod died, and it was safe for the family to return to Nazareth.

Andrew was first a disciple of John the Baptist. He left John to become a disciple of Jesus. Andrew brought his brother, Simon Peter, to Jesus.

Jesus went to the synagogue all his childhood. Although, we aren't told that in the bible, we can infer it as Mary and Joseph were pious jews and followed every tradition, this would also have meant that Jesus was brought up to go to the synagogue. He listened and learnt from the rabbi.

However, when he was 13 and went to the temple in Jerusalem, we are told that he stayed behind to talk with the elders who were astonished at his level of understanding.
