From what i remember in history class in 3rd grade, the british came here to escape govt involvement in their way of life, education etc...which includes religion.
Why do some people think the laws of the country are based on Chrstianity?

Bill Waterson never gave permission nor makes a dime off any products using his characters except his books. The images and likeness are stolen. Next time you see a christian with one of those stickers on their vehicle remind them of the commandment they're breaking.

When I suddenly heard a noise outside that sounded like a supped up hot rod
So I went 2 the window and looked around both 2 the west and the east
When 2 my surprise up pulled a old Ford and in it was the Beast
Well,he waved at me and said,"Come on boy and jump into my 32 Ford
And I said,"I can't and I won't cause I was about 2 talk 2 my Lord"
But the devil's persistent and won't give up,he can't afford the loss
So I reached in my pocket and pulled out a replica of the cross
Well the devil laughed and it came from what is supposed 2 B his heart
And asked me straight 2 my face,"What,U think that will rip me apart?
Don't U know I'm the master of all evil,Satan,the dark 1
Don't U know that with me U can do whatever and have some fun?"
I stood in disbelief at what I was hearing and seeing with my own very eye's
All the unrightousness,all the unpurity and most of all the lies
He was trying 2 deceive and corrupt me and lead me down his dark path

First of all, I am not trying to overgeneralize. In all honesty, I've met more compassionate christians than snooty ones. But others...


I mean, some of them even ADMIT that they donate to charity just to please God or to get to heaven. Just my personal opinion though.

Are there any empaths out there?

Can anyone describe the way it feels to be an empath because I think I am an Empath but I don't know for sure. Also
will God punish me if I dig into it and use it to help people?

(1)Last year, in my country, 3 workers drowned.
Here's the sequence:
a Christian worker fell into the water, then 2 Muslim workers were passing by, saw him drowning, just jumped in the water although they can't swim. They died trying 2 save him.

(2) Many of my friends r Christians, they r more than brothers to me. This year, we celebrated both Muslim and Christians feasts 2 gether, and it was really awesome.

My point is, we love each other so we live peacefully.
Announcing that all Muslims respect Christian and Jews, can we finally put an end to those insults and hate loving????

Even barring accidents or serious illness, life is very short, in the scheme of things. For atheists all that follows is OBLIVION. So every moment of their life should be precious. One would imagine that atheists would want enjoy themselves and make the best use of the short time they have. Therefore it is completely illogical that so many of them spend so much time preaching on this forum. It seems a very strange and perverted mindset for those who believe in oblivion after death, to want to spend your valuable time trying to convince others (who are quite happy in their belief in an afterlife) that they also face oblivion after death.

Why do negative thinkers always want to spread their negativity?
