Faith is the only way to completely trust in God. Otherwise we rely on our own devices too much and not on God.

Because we need to commit ourselves in terms of positive instruction. The Scriptures urge us to....."trust in the Lord with all your heart , and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5-7). This is why it is important to prove and know that God really does exist. We must also learn to trust in God's Word--- the Bible (Psalm 119:142,160; John 17:17)......This involves studying, proving and learning to live by every world of God. We must not only develop faith in Jesus Christ--that He was the So of God who came to die for our sins--but also develop the faith of Jesus who trusted and obeyed His Father's instruction to the point of saying ".....not my will, but yours, be done" (Luke 22:42).......We must also develop real faith in Christ's message about the coming Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14-15). This means coming to understand what the Kingdom of God is all about and our potential role in that Kingdom. As that message becomes more real to us, our faith will grow......... You cannot receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit without true faith and then, only what you can handle. The Holy Spirit is God's out-flowing power (Luke1:35). It is the means by which He created and brouhgt into existance the very universe (Psalm 104:30). It is the power by which He works in the minds of human beings made in His image (Genesis 6:3). It is the power by which the lame miraculously walked, the blind saw, the deaf heard, and the dead were raised during the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ (Luke 5:15-17)........The same power is available to you and me!

Faith is believing in something you can not see or touch.
Proverbs 3:4 Then you will find favor with both God and people,
and you will earn a good reputation.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

A measure of faith is given to each person. The question is what will you have faith in? The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.

Faith is evil -- in fact, the ultimate evil. Faith means to believe in something without evidence, or in the face of contrary evidence. This is not logical. Since the defining characteristic of H. sapiens is the ability to use logic, to deliberately abjure this ability is to reduce oneself to an animal. What could be more evil than that?

One enters prayer by the narrow gate of faith. The Holy Spirit teaches us to pray in hope. Conversely, prayer nourishes hope in us. As the apostle Paul prayed: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope" (Romans 15,13). Paul adds: "Hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us" (Romans 5,5).
Prayer draws everything into the love by which we are loved in Christ and which enables us to respond to him by loving as he has loved us. Love is the source of prayer; whoever draws from it reaches the summit of prayer. For "All things work together for good to them that love God" (Romans 8,28).
Peace and every blessing!

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
