(1)Last year, in my country, 3 workers drowned.
Here's the sequence:
a Christian worker fell into the water, then 2 Muslim workers were passing by, saw him drowning, just jumped in the water although they can't swim. They died trying 2 save him.

(2) Many of my friends r Christians, they r more than brothers to me. This year, we celebrated both Muslim and Christians feasts 2 gether, and it was really awesome.

My point is, we love each other so we live peacefully.
Announcing that all Muslims respect Christian and Jews, can we finally put an end to those insults and hate loving????

Qur'an says clearly that Muslims can't force anyone 2 convert, that we must respect Christians and jews, that being in a different religion doesn''t mean that they r bad or ennemies

Gene john....

Qur'an says that killing one innocent is like killing all humanity, that terrorists like Ben Laden who keep spreading fear and death r going straight 2 hell,
Briefly, a Muslim CAN NOT kill .

If we can get this to happen on a global scale, then it is possible. However, there is too much ignorance between the religions at a global level to have any kind of lasting peace among them. As a Muslim myself, I respect other peoples religious decisions, and would never try to pressure someone into converting to Islam that did not want to.

As-Salaamu Alaikum

The story you tell is touching. The problem I have with it is that you have to mention their religions. When people really love each other and treat each other as people the differences don't get mentioned, the labels don't get used. Am I supposed to be impressed that 2 Muslims tried to save a Christian? Shouldn't 2 workers try to save another worker. Or 2 children of God try to save their brother? I don't know if we will ever get to that point, but if we do then there will be peace. In the meantime, people need to stop killing people. People need to stop threatening people. People need to love each other.

I'm glad that you say you love everyone. But you cannot honestly say that all Muslims feel that way. You cannot deny what the terrorists have done and continue to do and say. You cannot deny what it says in the quran about infidels. You can't.

May God Bless you.

We can only hope.

Before the Crusades, the Muslims showed that all three religions could live together even in a place such as Jerusalem. Even as late as the British Protectorate, there was much less violence in the area.

Unfortunately, the rise of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim fundamentalism seems to conspire against peace.

It would seem that either Yahweh, Jehovah, and Allah don't care or they don't exist.

A nice thing to think, but I do not think that all Christians are that loving, nor all Muslims. Nor do I think that there will be peace because of a nice story. Sorry about that, but history proves that all people everywhere will not think alike.

Look I am all for peace between our faiths and I like all people but you should never forget that any such peace would be fragile and hard to sustain because Jesus Himself said that He had come to cast fire on the earth and that Brother will be against Brother because of Him, Christ is the way the truth and the life, unless we are truly united in Christ there can be no proper peace.

If most of your friends are christians, then you are very fortunate to have them. The Lord loves you so much that he surrounds with his precious people 'christians'. You need to consider the love of God and not take it for granted. Don't ask me what do you have to do. I don't know - but you definitely must do something. If your friends are genuine christians, and also genuine friends - they can't be genuinely happy with you as their friend but walking in different spiritual paths. That is not possible.

nice story, but religion inevitably divides people. muslims and christians may exist side by side, and like each other personally, but will never live in "peace" the way that like right-handed and left-handed people do. There is too much righteousness on both sides about issues too important to them.

For the love of whatever god you choose to believe in, YES.

Regardless of our individual religious affiliations, neighbor helping neighbor is always a good thing, and two feasts are always better than one.

The world would be a better place with more people like you in it, friend.

If only that last paragraph were true.....

Look, hundreds of thousands show up at the average Hamas rally. It isn't just a small part that is the problem. You seem to have it together, but a lot of your brothers don't. You need to stop them before they start WWIII.

The fact that two human beings died trying to save another human being is sad but the wouldbe rescuers should be remembered.... But that dose not change the fact that there is only one islam and only one quaran... The quaran is islam and islam is the quaran... and the quaran clearly states that any who do not submit to the law of the quaran and islam are to be killed... this makes any one who follows the quaran and islam the enemy of every one else who loves freedom...period...that is their own quaran speaking
