The cath-lickers want you to believe there was already a black pope. However, they already know Africa does not mean black. Look at Iran, they are as white as Europeans. To answer your question; there will never be a black pope. I don't remember seeing any black faces at a Kennedy function.

You sure worry a lot for an Agnostic.
+ There have been at least three African popes:
• St. Victor I (189-199)
• St. Melchiades (311-314)
• St. Gelasius (492-496)
Hopefully there will be more.
+ Every Pope is possibly the last Pope.
+ Wars (unfortunately) are always possible.
+ Natural disasters are always possible.
+ Middle East problems do not look like they are going to be solved anytime soon.
+ We should pray about all of these issues.
With love and prayers in Christ.

A black pope? You think a black pope will be one of the things that ushers in the end times?
Oooohh boy.
Mark 13 is a pretty damn good list of the end time events that lead up to the second coming of Christ.
But to answer your question, yeah, I think we're close - but remember: "you will hear of wars and rumors of war, but don't be shaken, for the end is not yet" - so whats the opposite of war and rumors of war? Peace.
Its in peace that the destruction shall come.
(Thats the coming in of Antichrist in case anybody wants to think its a nuclear holocaust. its not)

I'm a believer, a Cristian Catholic, and i do understand what you mean, although I can easily said to you, it's all in your mind, try to put mind over matter, though God isn't an emanation of the same matter, we are, God isn't from this world, and if he create the world, not only he knew he will need to destroy it, because the many different Energies that his work will inspired many energies to emanate from the matter, just you and me, where to see and expect from him more of what they where willing to bargain forth. Though I think he found a better way, and we will all be able to judge our own self!!!!!, do you think someone will be able to get out way with something????, The polices are Jesus, St, Peter, Paul, James, you know the Gang of 12. thank-you. ja, ja, ja,....

maybe a black president of the US will become the first pope and we all die 1000 years from now, when a cow accidentally knocks over a nuclear reactor!
