It depends on what you want to accomplish and what are the promises. My God loves everyone and I like His promises. He is in promise keeping business. I believe that the Bible is true, that is the starting point for me. I accept that I am saved because Jesus paid my ransom. I believe that Jesus wants me to do good even when we are not saved by them.
No, I would not kill for Him, because He would not ask me to do that. Only Abraham was trusted enough, no one after that has been asked to do that. God knew that Abraham's son would not die, this experience was more important to Abraham than it was for God.
There is no other God than God of Abraham...but you have your free will. Use it wisely. : )

There is only one God or Goddess or whatever you want to call it, and He has nothing to do about every war started on His Name, whatever you want. The religions create the conception of the warrior gods.

In short, my God made me and the world in which we live, he strengthens me and teaches me. (I presume that you are speaking from the aspect of a non-Jewish/Christian God) Your god hasn't done anything for me!
Would i kill for my God, I hope, so regardless of who the person is.

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?
