I like when zealots try to blame atheism on the devil. It reminds me of little kids who believe that a monster lives in their closets.

The Bible is about life, and living it, not a science textbook. What difference does it make if a modern day rabbit doesn't chew the cud? The Bible never claimed to be science only science of the soul. Why don't they ask meaningful, life-situation questions!

Typically I enjoy the format. Yet, so many want to criticize our Christian faith. Thats the thing...it's faith. I don't believe in Jesus, I know Jesus in a real and personal way. Until you step out on faith you won't. Ask your questions, but be open to the responses. I defy you to disprove anything, your choice not to believe is actually based less on fact than on your own intellegence (or the lack there of in some cases.) I can't prove God to you, so it is a matter of faith. I challenge you to seek the answers without agenda and with an open mind.

God is supernatural.

Supernatural means:

of, pertaining to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainable by natural law or phenomena; abnormal.

Therefore, you can't explain God's existence, and it thus impossible to prove God does not exist.

Then faith comes in.

Faith means:

-Christian Theology: the trust in God and in His promises as made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified or saved.

-belief that is not based on proof: "He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact."

So, is it really logical to begin with an assumption "God does not exist" when that assumption defies logical concepts in the first place.

This is a nuetral question. I'm not trying to prove God exists, I'm just wondering why people boldy can say he does not.

I'm just wondering how exactly a teacher can go about explaining creationism throughout a whole semester without actually preaching to a classroom. I mean, with no empirical evidence supporting the claim, how much can you really say about it?

If you don't believe in God or Jesus or the Bible, why do you care about the questions and answers in the religious section? Are you on a mission to "convert" the believers?

so i ask a question regarding the trinity and i get told, "stop trying to finding loopholes" and "try reading the bible" and stuff like this. but none of them even tried to answer my question...

could you guys please stop beating around the bush and try answering the question being asked? we arent 5, we dont plug our ears and go "lalalalala" when we dont want to hear something. im getting sick of your lack of ability to stick to the question. if u dont know the answer dont post up something completely unrelated. is it that hard?

Do any non-christians have as much problems as i do with this?

If all the events in the Bible happened here on Earth. Beings on other planets would have no knowledge of the Bible or any other religion even though we consider it to be universal. Who do they worship or what religion do they practice. I'm taking inot consideration that there are billions and billions of stars with billions and billions of planets in the universe, so odds are we are not alone considering that all it really takes is water to sustain life.
