When a question is asked, what's with all the name calling. Someone just asked for some good Christian music bands and so many people came in and made fun of her! It makes me furious to see so many people talk about ME shoving MY religion down other people's throat when I see so much Christian bashing on here!

Interesting, there is a passage in I believe 1 Kings 40 where the prophet Elijiah kills the priests and prophets of Ba'al for their leading people in false worship.
Wonder what the reaction will be from the religious right?

With all due respect to my Christian friends, I had to ask this because its been eating at me for a while:

I know you dont hold Jesus and God in the same level and when you call Jesus Gods son you basically mean: they are the same in essence. I understand that and thats fine with me, but I also understand that people see God in Jesus. Isnt that idolatry?

If the father and son the holy spirit are part of a "trinity" an entity of one, how does one withold information from the other? wouldnt that make each of them seperate entities and thus concluding that if Jesus is not God then praying to him is idolatry?

This is a religious question, america was more religious in the 50's. Anyway, I think the quality of life was better in the 50's for the average man. All inequality asside, I think the economy was better (we have very few manufacturing facilities anymore). I heard on the news that personal savings is at its lowest point since the great depression. There was better family life then, now you pretty much need two incomes to get by. I think personal freedom was greater, now we have laws for everything. Taxes were lower, the value of the dollar was greater. Other than some social injustices and technological advances, I would say they had a better quality of life for the most part.

so in regards to my last question many people said, you got answers u just didnt like them...

answers relate to the topic. they dont beat around the bush and provide no information regarding the question. do u guys even know what an answer is? if you dont then why are you here? if i ask about blue skys dont answer me with what the grass is made up of. stick to the topic.
