I am learning a little about this faith. I want to ask people more about it, but I think I will sound stupid if I mispronounus it.

unconventional religions or lifestyles. Last night they had a wiccan couple, and the show made a special effort to show how cruel it was to make the wiccan kids take part in rituals etc. they had "no interest in." Why is this any worse than, say, forcing religiously indifferent kids to attend a mainstream church. Is there a bit of a double standard here?

I am not knocking anyone's religious beliefs, but among the various religious sects/individuals who embrace the Bible here in YA, there are countless contradictions. i.e.

The Nature of God, Doctrine of the Trinity, Faith vs Works, Ordinance of Baptism (necessary or unnecessary - how should it be performed?), Revelation, Gifts of the Spirit, Priesthood Authority, Literal Resurrection, Prophecy, and on and on...

How can someone expect to find truth in the Bible, when it seems to be so subjective?

I'm planning an investigation of a site that is said to have malice spirits haunting it. As well as some sites that have benevelent spirits. Being me, I want to be prepared for whatever may happen. I know of a few people who do or have someone cast a protection spell or protection prayer over them, then I know of some that just use the lord's prayer. Are there any experienced Ghost Hunters or Wiccan's that can give me advice on this subject?

I personally have no respect for anyone elses religion other than the Jews. I tolerate all religions, I think that people can be what they want to be as long as they don't want to kill me. Is this way of thinking wrong in your oppinion, especially Christians? How can we respect something that we know is false. Atheists, I know you think they are all false, so I don't really need that information.

So, Ive been thinking about this problem I see with the concept of Free Will and an Omniscient God...

I understand that God is responsible for the creation of EVERYTHING in the universe. I understand that, according to Pslam 139, "all my days are written in Your Book" - meaning that God already knows what choices I will make, but that I have the Free Will to make those choices.

The problem I have then is that, if God is truly omniscient, then why did he bother to create me as a Hellbound Atheist? Surely, I have the Free Will to choose to beleive and to go to Heaven as a saved one of his flock - but then doesnt this cancel out his omniscience, as he has me pegged as a Hellbound Atheist?? Or, if He really already knew I was going to change my mind in the end and convert - doesnt that rule out Free Will??

I cannot grasp the concept of Free Will and an Omniscient God.

we can talk all we want about God and our beliefs but until we see why people don't want to believe we can never understand how to live with one another in a world that requires people to live together with different beliefs.So this is just for me and my understanding of others who want their beliefs to be heard too.
