This is a serious question.

Hi, I'm a muslim, also I have some Christian friends.

They say there's a passage in the bible that states that God doesn't allow you to judge others,

So why am I seeing a lot of prejudice among Christians these days?

Why is there a lot of you Christians prosecuting us Muslims(Along with other religions and beliefs)?

Didn't your bible say do not judge others?

Or maybe even in prisons at night to calm peoples nerves? There would be beefs, but the majority rules in a democracy. And how much rights do prisoners have after they
commit crimes against society anyway? Shouldn't rehabilitation be mandatory in prisons, for their benefit as well?

All of Christian ethics is derived from the ethics of pagan Greek philosophers, most of whom did not believe in the literal existence of their gods.

Why does it seem that Christians who are saved and follow Christ have more of a tough time in life than those who don’t follow Christ and are worldly people creating daily sin?

This is what I posted to a similar question: please add your own comments, both religious and non.

Maybe instead, you should respect people's beliefs for once and only focus on your own. That's why our world cannot move forward, cause too many people are caught up on religious things that have no real meaning to the state of the earth. I don't care about god right now, I care about new energy sources so my children will have a safe and healthy place to grow up. I don't care about heaven, I care about new leaders that will LEAD the countries and not bring them down. I don't care about hell, I care about health care for future generations and my own. Worry about what's happening right now rather than worry about your soul in heaven.

Chose to believe in Jesus Christ now....
Rather than be punished with eternal torment and separation from God when that great and terrible Day of the Lord comes?
God has proven Himself over and over again to us....just look at a new born baby.......just look at the trees in New England in the fall.....just look at a rainbow after a storm which reminds us of His promise in Genesis after the flood......

Trust in Him now while you still have life. Wouldn't you rather do so now?

I've seen this argument from Christians quite a few times now:

"Those who don't believe are like ostriches who hide their heads in the sand... they figure 'if I can't see God, then there is no God!'. They look foolish."

...don't they realize that this argument a)Begs the Question, i.e., God exists, b) is nothing more than a thinly veiled insult against those who don't share in your superstition, c) is INCREDIBLY ironic?

since we are now living in the 21st century and we are in the year 2007, can we say that the quran is no longer valid as a guide of a way of life in todays society.
- since we do not want to cause terror and violence to other ppl and their religions. such as jews, hindus etc
- men no longer want to have 4 or more wives
- we live in a world where at this moment men and women want to be equal and be all agree that men & women should have equality.
- we live in a world where we all agree that beating of women is completely wrong.
what i am trying to get at is that maybe the quran had good intentions way back but if we follow the quran iin todays world, there would be no non-muslims in this world, since the quran states that anybody not believng in allah and his messenger we shall cause terror.

I read the Bible and the Koran and I can hardly tell the difference. The only thing I'd say is the Koran has many more highly aggressive passages (Kill the infidels, etc.), but the Bible has them too. Aside from that, the two books almost sound like they were written by the same nutcase.

Tonight here in Australia a documentary was shown about her. I found it disturbing how she was harassed so much by the Govt & Fundies & even more by her demise.

I was suprised at how nasty it all gets over there.

Do any of you belong to an atheist Society?

Her "Christian God is coming to town" song was quite good!
