They were the ones doing the beating!!! god is amused by our misery, that's why he created sin and satan.

Where was God when his only begotten son was being beaten up, tortured and crucified on the cross? Where was God when 6 million Jews were being slaughtered by Nazi Germany? Where was God when Mao was butchering Chinese intellectuals?
The answer is God sometimes allows suffering in order to make something good out of it. Something good came out of the three examples I gave you.
God also expects us to help ourselves. He has given us everything we need. He has also given us his laws so that we can live in peace and no one will be in need. It is not God's fault that we suffer. It is mankind's fault.

Yours is the same as mine in testimony, I finally found the answer in John 15
Jhn 15:18 ¶ If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.
Jhn 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Before I was saved I had many friends, and things were good.
But I found myself lacking and wanting, but did not know why, I had what I wanted so far as I knew, But once I attended Church with some friends, and during that, I felt a great conviction, and huge longing, a powerful pull, I surrendered all to Christ, and felt a great joy, one that can not be described with words.
I attended Church for a while, but the temptations of the world got a hold on me, and I ceased going to church for a long time, over 20 years, I felt horrible, and the world turned against me, I tried to fit in with the crowd, sex, drinking, none of those gave me any comfort, 4 years ago, I began attending church again and felt great convictions towards by backsliding, then my father died, Now I knew death, I was in Desert Storm and had as a soldier, had killed the Enemy and had even picked up enemy bodies and loaded them into trucks stacked like cord wood, so you would not think that seein just another dead person would have any effect on me.
But this was my father, I had not known death like this, I snapped, My brothers Mother-n-law who is a spirit filled Christian, seen what was going on, and wanted to talk to me , as soon as she began speaking, I broke down, I could take it no longer, and I repented, I began seeking the Lord, and asked, why could I not find happiness when I was backsliding, why could not the sex and Drinking not give me any peace.
It was because, I was chosen out of this world, I was trying to be a part of a world that did not want any part of me, The world rejected me and I just did not want to see that, and kept trying.
But the world just kept rejecting me, Satan kept me for years from seeing this, he knew that I was chosen out of the world, and all he was trying to do is keep me from being a Christian witness for Christ, no longer.

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

I believe God has a plan for everyone. Maybe the angels kept you from death. Anyway, search for God. If you seek Him, you will find Him. Draw near to Him and He will drew near to you. Look at the "book" of nature. See how complex it is? Then look at the Book of God, the Bible. See what it says about nature and things.

Umm...yeah. Angels don't save you from getting beat up. You said you have logic so, why didn't you run away or fight back? God (and angels for that matter) help those who CAN'T help themselves. Obviously you could've helped yourself.
Life is tough. Wear a cup. Don't blame God or angels for the bad things that happen in life. That's just life. If you don't want to believe, don't.
