When will the world end?

When God gives the word, Jesus will come back to get us.

In about 10 billion years the Sun will run out of fuel. When that happens the core will collapse and the gas on the outside will expand. It will likely expand past the orbit of the Earth and swallow it up, but even if not it will still cook everything on the planet beyond recognition.
