Found on a blog:

"Someone who acts on the belief that God doesn't exist or that God is irrelevant is acting on his religious beliefs - to the same extent as a Christian who acts on the belief that he must obey the Bible as the word of God."

This is ridiculous to me... what do you think? Please state whether you are a non-believer or a Christian so I can understand your point of view. Thanks!

That if God controlled the Council of Nicea and told them what to put in the bible, then they didn't have freewill at that point?

If God takes away freewill sometimes, why didn't he do so during the Holocaust for example? (People explain such evils as God letting people exercise their freewill.)

Why can't church goers admit that their faith is often the result of a faithful upbringing. There is no choice in this world, everything is cause and effect. For example, more criminals come from bad enighborhoods than good ones. Does God just isolate criminals to families in bad neighborhoods?

How can you believe in a God that condemns you to an eternity of hell and torture for not believing in him when it really isn't your decision at all?

I mean, Paul was smart enough to escape getting beaten up or stoned or otherwise avoid an unruly mob.

Does the description of Stephen -- "his face shown like that of an angel" -- give us a clue? I think of an person -- someone who is a bit slow.

All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.(Romans 8:28)
With that verse in mind, I believe even if people in the past tampered with different books in the bible, that God's will is still done and His true Word has still been delivered, preached, and taught to His people via the bibles that we have nowadays. God is almighty and He has made His enemies (those who want to paint His word as being false, and take away from His Word, etc.) His footstool. (Psalm 110:1 and Matthew 22:44) Thank God for His living Word! (Hebrews 4:12) God can and will use the things that the enemy designs for stumbling blocks and make them stepping stones. Praise God in Jesus' name!

After a ritual of invoking the elements by the Golden Dawn, creating protections, setting my circle, adorning myself in the appropriate symbols and clothing, summoning Flauros into the triangle, to the physical plane, of course first attuning myself to see and hear him. How do you remove him, after he has completed what it is said he shall do?

or is a little bit of diversity ok? like maybe some of us can have blue hats, and maybe some of us can call ourselves bob darwin, or jim kirk,

what if someone doesnt want to wear a hat?

should we all have the same religion, im an atheist should everyone be an atheist, or is it ok if some of us are christians or jewish or muslims,

should we all be democrats or is it ok if some of us are republicans or independents,

should we all be pro-choice or is it ok if some of us are pro-life,

do we all have to believe in evolution, i do, but should everyone "have" to,

what would be the test for having to believe anything?

admit it - you don't like me cause im wearing a red santa hat and i have a fake white beard on

I mean, his behavior was a bit extreme.

First, persecuting the Jewish Christians. Then, his "vision" that God talked to him. Finally, joining the "Christian Way" and spending his life and finances to travel and preach Christian theology.

A recent question asked, "what faith are you?"
In answering which religious denomination I belong to (Mormon), I got thumbs down by other YA's.

Not that I mind a thumbs down, but what are you/they disagreeing with here?

The inner Sound, is the Word referred in Bible:In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

now I know us Christians can be very judgemental and righteous in the form of words.... I hope any comments here can be made with tolerance and Gods love....with is uncomprehedably vast, i know.

This site has really moved me.
