Atheism is the religion of self.
A man rejects God neither because of intellectual demands nor because of the scarcity of evidence. A man rejects God because of a moral resistance that refuses to admit his need for God.

I am a Christian.
Well athiesm is a religion in the most basic understanding of religion. Religion in its most basic form is a "system of beliefs". Therefore if there is a group called athiest who all do not believe that god exsists then it would be a set of beliefs and therefore a religion.
Some argue with this saying that Athiest do not agree on anything else. Well the same could be said of some Christians but they are still apart of the religion known as Christinaity.

Congratulations, you've all started the first step of your adventure in route of religion. maximum atheists presume that they have got greater intelligence & believers are dumb. with assistance from definition, there can merely be one author, GOD, with assistance from inspite of call he's common. GOD has tried to bare himself to all mankind in the course of the a lengthy time period. Our diverse religions are mankind's concept expressed by their way of existence. Abraham is created with having the most precise knowledge: "hear O Israel, your GOD is One GOD." hence, the Jews were chosen. Their challenge change into to deliver the Son of GOD into the international, to shop all mankind.

I would agree. A belief in a God is based on evidence that cannot be proven or substantiated to any rational degree.
To use that as evidence for the conclusion that there is "no God" is also based on evidence that cannot be proven or substantiated to any rational degree.
However to come to the conclusion that it is not possible to know would be a rational conclusion of such evidence and can be reasonably substantiated everytime someone embarks on a search for "God" or "no God".

I guess it's just semantics. Most atheists state that atheism is not a religion or religious belief (myself included). However, technically not believing in God could equate to believing that no God exists and thus be a belief about religion. I guess you could argue it either way - a lack of belief or a belief itself (believing that God doesn't exist).
I phrase my statements as "I don't believe in God". Religious belief? Depends how you look at it.
