now I know us Christians can be very judgemental and righteous in the form of words.... I hope any comments here can be made with tolerance and Gods love....with is uncomprehedably vast, i know.

This site has really moved me.

Very touching. I have one problem though. "The inner Sound" could be anything - it would be just like satan to use something with "possible" truth to get people sidetracked from THE truth which is Christ. If you started from a real relationship with Christ first and then used this method as part of your communication with Him in prayer to make your prayer life more effective then it might possibly have some value. However, I don't see it leading anyone to Christ. "The inner sound" and "the Word was God" is not one and the same. "The inner sound" could easily be distorted by a demon while the "Word was God" is Christ only. Anything that enhances my communion, fellowship, and closeness to Christ, I am all for - but this sounds like it could be very misleading for some who are not founded and grounded in the Truth of God.

John wrote this book (John) to help his readers understand that Jesus is more than just a good man - he's the "God-Man" John begins his collection of stories about Jesus by echoing the first sentence of the Bible. Genesis reads,"In the beginning, God..."" John writes, In the beginning was the Word. This phrase, combined with the images of creation in verse3, makes John's identification of Jesus as God unmistakable(also see verse 14) Jesus is the sum total of all God wants to say to us. He is the "flesh and bones" message of God - in short, God's Word to the world. The basis of Christianity is not the moral teachings of Jesus, as important as those are. The true basis of Christianity is Jesus himself. Also read Matthew 16 and John 8 it will so you more clearly who Jesus is.

While it is always good to accept good advice, it is not good to mix beliefs. This is called the practice of Interfaith and the bible speaks directly against that at 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.
At John 1:1, John is refering to Jesus Christ. If you read the whole First chapter of the book of John, you will see exactly who that scripture refers to. Alot of people have taken scriptures from the bible to further their own agenda but when you put those scriptures in context, you can disprove them everytime. The bible was inspired by Jehovah God and written by men to bring honor and Glory to Jehovah God through his Son Jesus Christ. Not to bring attention to someone's misguided beliefs. Please use the bible in context. Only then can you gain proper understanding.

The word that Paul speaks of is Jesus...not some inner sound. That is new age and dangerous.

Paul means that Christ is and has always been. He became flesh to save us.

Please be careful delving into these ideas that our humanity is saving and that we are god like creatures....etc.

congratulations!! popular western/fundamentalist "religion" is a VAST wasteland. and the same could be said for all fundamentalist belief, everywhere. humans wish to experience "divine energy", not just debate, theorize, and argue and kill in respect of it. among many sites that do offer "contact" the one you note i know least about. i would say that the Eastern path generally provides tools for facilitating actual "contact", and has done so for many millennia. try, for example, http://www.sahajayoga.com and http://www.bhagavandharma.org/ also, check out the book: *Gnosis of the Cosmic Christ* . if i'm not mistaken, i believe this is what Jesus had in mind, rather than the babblings of such current "prophets" as bloated jerry falwell and his used car salesmen colleagues ;-)

"She will accept your sincerity in daily life and meditation practice to progress yourself towards sainthood."

Sounds like a religion to me. We have to WORK to achive sainthood.

Jesus offers his completed work on the cross so that we don't have to work for it, it is a free gift.

We have the free gift of being accepted by God, even though we are guilty of many sins. The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over us, but all who receive God's wonderful, gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
Yes, Adam's one sin brought condemnation upon everyone, but Christ's one act of righteousness makes all people right in God's sight and gives them life. Because one person disobeyed God, many people became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many people will be made right in God's sight.
