Probably, because most people ask for stuff when they pray ... "God, get me out of this one and I'll never do it again". If they asked "God, whatever happens, let me be able to handle the results", then they might be better off because God will take care of it.

It really depends on your motives. If you want to pray God's will to happen and to trust that He will give you what you ask or something better..or if you want to ask something for yourself outside of the God's will. : )
