" ... believe Jesus is the only way" sounds like Protestant fundie stuff. In real Christian communions such as Eastern Orthodox, Anglican and Roman, it is understood that Jesus founded his holy church and endowed it with authority handed down over the generations from the apostles. So they are more likely to speak of Jesus and the Holy Church, his espoused Bride and the Body of which he is the Head.

" ... the only way" begs the question. The only way to what? Some fantasy of an afterlife that somebody has sold you? does it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe, you have been suckered by a system that aims to control you?

Because Jesus said so. Then He suffered a brutal death was buried and arose. During the next 40 days he was seen by over 500 eyewitnesses. And then went to be with God. He left behind the Holy Spirit to help you understand. Beware. The Holy Spirit won't make you do something. He will guide you if you seek His guidance.

Good question.
It's easy and hard to answer.
I can see why Christians feel this way, even if they are wrong.
God, and not Jesus is the only way. I love and respect Jesus as a prohpet of God, but he's not the answer.

Because we believe the Truth, who IS Jesus The Christ, unlike Satan the father of lies. The Bible clearly states you cannot get to God any other way and that is an ETERNAL CHOICE you will have to live with-- or die with--the ball's in your COURT, but remember who the JUDGE is!! Yep JESUS!

Because that's what He told us. He actually said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but by Me." Now, if we aren't going to believe what He told us, what would be the point of being a Christian?

Because that is what they are taught to believe. It's about faith, handed down from generation to generation. No one really knows what was said, actually. The bible was written decades after Jesus lived. This is not in dispute.

Humans are sinners. Nothing unpure can enter Heaven. Without a cleansing of our sin, we would be condemned to the separation for God. True repentance and the Atonement provide this cleansing. Hence, we may return to our Father in Heaven.

because the Bible says so. Jesus is their Truth embodied. however, Jesus apparently only embodies the Christian version of truth. one might imagine that ALL truths, whatever they may be, would be symbolized by The Truth but this is not the case. Jesus only symbolizes Christian truth which consistently ignores or denies scientific facts and basic honesty truths. convenient for the Christians, really. they can redesign reality to fit their religious truth and get all indignant and feel persecuted when others refuse to adhere to their myth based reality..
