Who knows. The fact is that we don't have a complete picture of the evolutionary map yet, and probably never will. Fossils only form under very specific circumstances, so they are actually quite rare.
Just because we don't have all the bits of the puzzle yet though, doesn't mean the puzzle is wrong. At least science is trying to find answers instead of just blindly being told what to believe.

No, its from a river bed in Texas. Quite a few dino and man prints have been found in the same levels of limestone. It does not conform to current beliefs by geologists and paleontologists so they don't say much about it. Its considered anomalous.
Just because something is real and true doesn't mean that it will be popular.
