I'm Jewish, and not rich (by a long shot). Jewish theology teaches that there is a "world to come," but that we are not in control of when it will arrive. We are here and now; we believe in doing good for others in the here-and-now. We value education, and believe in making the world a better place for all people.

Your assertion that "most Jews are amazing traders and rich people" is straight from Hitler's party line (look it up for yourself if you don't believe me), and is quite offensive to most Jews. Generalizations about any group of people, good or bad, are little more than bigotry.

MOST Jews aren't amazing traders and rich people. That's just a mis-perception. Perhaps, like the Jains, they are over represented amongst rich people, but there are and have always been a lot of poor Jews as well. I would say - the majority. Again, like with most groups: few at the top, lots at the bottom.

But since Judaism doesn't really have a clear doctrine on the hereafter, it would be strange if Jews as a group cared about that deeply.

I wouldnt say most jews, there are a lot of poor Jews. They come out of Russia to Israel broke. I agree that a lot of Jews are rich. It might have to do with their blessing from god. They also have strong family values and stress education. When you come from rich parent, you usually get a pretty good job. Not all Jewish people are practicing Jews. I think a lot of them worry more about this world. The ones that I know LOVE money. But, with any group you cant lump them all together. There are practicing Jews that think more about the afterlife.

yes, we do care more about this world than the hereafter. as should everybody else. we don't give much thought to the afterlife because we believe in serving G-d because it's the right thing to do, not because we are trying to buy our way into "heaven".

no, most jews are not amazing traders and rich people.

I have to say yes.

There's nothing finer than a sincere Godly Jew, . . .

But nothing worse than a deceptive evil Jew.

Some do, just as some Christians do.
