Who wants to bet people will follow this fool again?

2007-02-06 14:16:13 · 14 answers · asked by Anonymous

They say they don't have to prove anything. But mean while people are mocking and dying in their sin. You accept your salvation by faith, but what if someone needs a little help. As Christians are you not supposed to be ready to give an answer? No wonder Atheists continue to argue! When I believe most people are truly searching and Christians are so busy giving answers like, "I don't have to prove anything, Jesus will prove it with His coming." But won't that be too late for some? What about putting on the whole armor of God?

I belong to a particular religion , I have my own opinion about all the things related to religion , I grew up by seeing my mother and father doing some prays and some spiritual malpractices , my mother taught me when I was a boy , that after we die we will have to cross a big bridge , it will be as thin as a hair for the sinners and it will be large for good doers , and after that those who worked good in the world they will go to heaven and the hell is for those who do sins in their life,
But after I grew up I came to know that there are some other religions in the world! All most all the religious people over the world justify their own religion and blame the other one,
And some others tell that all the people who are not in their religion are surely in hell,
just suppose I was born in an island were are no religions and suddenly I came in a city of various religions , which one can I choose and can any body leave without one
Will we have to go to heaven or hell?

These are children/atheist questions

1. Who made God?

2. Why I can't see God?

3. Is God listening?

4. Where is God?

This is when the mental abuse starts. You christian child abusers start threatening them with hell, giving illogical answers, and telling them not to think

Do we all need to just get over ourselves a bit?

Stay with me now; my train of thought may tend to wander.

I realize where I am; Yahoo Answers- Religion. What would one expect to find here other than a lot of Christians and atheists? Oh, yes, I realize other theologies and philosophies are represented, too.

I'm betting that a lot of you (probably more of the non-believers) enjoy a variety of sensual delights. Why? Because they make you feel good, of course. Whether its sex, food, music, nature, indulgence and satiation give you some kind of sense of "peace." So, it would be safe to say that you seek "peace."

And the Christians are filled with their own sense of peace.

Are we not all more alike than different? Don't we all seek a "happy place," but just taking different paths to that same place?

Except for the religious attempts to infiltrate politics, do all of our labels and arguments amount to squat?

Don't we all have our own philosophical/theological "sugar fixes."

Has anyone ever answered the question as to why Jesus' genealogy is 28 generations in Matthew and 43 generations in Luke? Check it out. Also, why establish a lineage for Christ through Joseph. Joseph is allegedly his stepfather, not his father. I don't get it.

J.ustified E.ternal S.ripture U.niting S.aints.....
C.ausing H.ope R.isen I.n S.ad T.imes.. J.esus c.hrist... Am I the only one that thinks that the 12 (men- first. disicples- second. Saints- third) could have created the bible for such purposes to control every one all at once so there wouldn't be any more murders and such wrotten things back in that time? look at the twelve comandments.. so everyone would conform to not behave as animals but wait.. A name has to be given so people will follow, they wont simply follow just 12 men and their word so what then will they follow to.. well we can create a god in our own image to get these people to follow so our very existence will go on.. think about it.. how could existence back in them times of lasted if there was nothing to control the un controllable people??? That is why the bible was written and that is why god was made...

I am a single mom of a very active 3 1/2 year old boy who is looking to reconnect with the church (Catholic to be specific). The church that I would be joining does not have a nursery and only offers sunday school for older children therefore he would need to sit with me. I'm just wondering how I earth I can keep him occupied so that he doesn't disrupt the church and I can listen to the sermon. Also, when it comes time for Communion I would need to bring him up with me. Would there be any issues with that?

God really has laid something on my heart about starting a permenamt food drive at my church. too often we only think of giving food at thanksgiving or christmas, when it's a year-round problem...anyways, i'd like to have a meaningful name for this...just so i can have it printed up in the bulliten:

"don't forget about such-and-such project, that will be collecting canned and dry goods every sunday in the foyer"

thanks for the suggestions!

1. First they're raised in church

2. After being raised in church, they get into serious trouble. More trouble than the average Atheist

3. Than they say they found Jesus and changed their life for the better

4. When telling their story about Jesus saving them, they never mention the fact that they were raised in church which caused them to have the mind set to get into trouble in the first place.

If you don't believe in God, then it stands to reason you must be in favor of giving heroin to kids and rape.

Why can't you see the double standard.
