Mainly because all the maniacs will be in Heaven with Mr. Omnipotent Bloodthirsty Egotistical Deity (formerly known as Yahveh...) I mean, who could enjoy being in Heaven with THEM there?!?!? It would be worse than Hell, never mind the climate!

do you think god is a man woman ect.
do you think he is judgemental or open minded,
what about homosexuality or other religions?
do you think he is strict and unforgiving or do you think he is loving forgiving and benevolent?
do you think the bible is always right or that faith is not black and white or right and wrong
do you think that "christians" are all based off of the catholic church or do you think that god loves all of us equally and doesn't like us dividing ourselves into religious "groups"
i would just like to know your opinions i don't care what they are but i would like to see what people think about religion.

okay for my confrimation or however you spell it lol i chose the confrimation name Augustine after the saint. yes yes im well aware it was a boy. in english (not tons of huge words cause i dont want to misinterpret something as important as this) i need to know who they were and what they did that was so great. i did so much research but none of it was clear. if any of you have good information that is inspirtational or just really cool about saint augustine please answer!

Hypothetically, lets say religion was made illegal, unavailable, or otherwise unpopular at least. Would the people themselves really be any different?

It isn't like they would suddenly gain 10 IQ points. Odds are they would still be the same racist, homophobic, anti-choice, & etc. people they are now only without religion as an excuse.

Could it be their negative qualities is what holds them to their religion to begin with?

If my theory is right, then what hope do we really have?

Did He flip a coin to decide adultery was wrong and marriage was right, or did He have actual REASONS for stating that they were such? If He did, then there's not getting around the fact that there is an outside code of morals/ethics which even God has to recognise and (hopefully) abide by! To say that something is right or wrong ONLY because God so decides is the same as saying nothing is REALLY right or wrong!!! What's to stop God from deciding tommorrow that child abuse is "right" and that treating children kindly is "wrong"? NOTHING, if you accept the Christian's theory on the source of morality! ONLY if morality has an independent existance unchangable by EVEN GOD, can there be any moral absolutes!!!

Every time I bring up Aisha I get a lot of thumbs down. I just can not see how any rationalization can show marrying a six year old is okay. Should I just give up asking these questions because they make some Muslims feel uncomfortable?

All of these things exist. All of these thing once had a usefull purpose. Because of a little process called evolution, they now are on they're way out of the gene pool, give or take a million years...

I was very surprised, when recently I found out that Communism was sponsored by Jewish billioner from New York. It is,also, very interesting that most of Communist leaders in Poland, Hungary, Soviet Union... were Jewish(Lenin, Stalin..).All heads of KGB were Jewish Yahooda, Kaganovich..
In 1930s a lot of Polish military officers were killed by KGB.
In 1920-1950s-millions(5-10 millions) starved to death in Ukraine because KGB with Kaganovich as head intentionally took away all harvest and food from people. As I know it was considered to establish Jewish republic on that territory. Also, almost every church was destroyed by communists.
