Psychologists say if a person thinks everybody's bad, it probably means they are bad and have a negative self image of themselves

It doesn 't matter what the bible says.

Believing the bible is what screwed you up in the first place

If you think everybody's bad, you're worse than the average person

When did you find evolution to be THE EXPLANATION for the diversity of life?

At a recent islamic convention in Dearborn, Michigan, it was stated that by 2050, 3/4 of the states of USA will be muslim majority. Governance and electoral systems will be changed, so that other states will have to fall in line, leading to the islamification of the whole of the USA.

US Dept of Immigration officials have accepted that these figures are accurate. How can the USA just roll over and give itself up to it? Pretty soon you'll all be on your knees 5 times a day, and no more hotdogs and Bratworst for you either.

It's terrible, I'm glad I don't live in the US.

How come when it comes to Science religious people can trust everything science has to offer...DNA testing for families, cancer research, Aids research, Vaccines, Meteorology, Cures for disease that Science has developed over the last hundred years, Flight,Gravity, the earth revolving around the sun, The moon cycles, Computers, Radar, Underwater Research, water purification, the list goes on and on...yet when Science says evolution is fact you act like Science is lying to you and they are just making it up to prove you wrong. I mean don't you realize that this has happend before? ex.Research Galileo, I am not trying to be mean but how come when it really comes down to it I can 100 % prove evolution. Yet you guys read one Biased Evangelical website written by a pastor saying evolution is wrong and you take it as Gospel? Also for people who believe in God and evolution..why don't you talk some sense into your fellow believer?
If it wasn't for Science mankind would have died out long ago.

I think the 2 go hand in hand. No matter how p.c. we want to be terrorist don't blow them selfs up for religious freedom. They blow up because the are promised black eyed virgins. Martyrdom is celebrated in the their community after the act is done. According to poll the overwhelming majority of Muslims in the middle east believe terrorism is justified.

I'm currently reading "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris and I find it very interesting. Especially this quote from the Bible which the author uses in his defense and argument for atheism: "Slaves, be odient to those who are your earthly masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as to Christ..." ( Ephesians 6:5) There are other quotes, some more concerning slavery, some about a man selling his daughter into slavery to "please her master" (Exodus 21:7-11). what do you make of this? Do you think that people take what they want from the Bible and leave the rest?

In relation to a prior question asked by someone esle where smoking is considered a sin.

Has anyone who believes this to be true actually ever smoked before or are they speculating? You really don't feel any different before, during or after than any other time.

I am plagued by the descision whether or not to believe and follow the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in full faith, and have been so for over three years. After my first meeting with the missionaries, I felt something I had never felt before, something inside of my heart that just wanted to believe, even though I was only taught a few things in that hour or so, and even though I was raised protestant my whole life. Since then, I've prayed...I've studied, and I've hoped for years...To finally be able to decide if the LDS faith is truly of God. It seems that there are many things in this world, including people close to me, that seem to work in a way to keep me from this faith...So I ask, is this God truly trying to keep me away because it is false? Or is this the evil in the world trying to keep me away from that which is true and of God? If God has answered my prayers for the truth, I have been ignorant to His responses...Or perhaps He has not yet answered them?
