That simply isn't true. Silas traveled with Paul and recorded Paul's teaching of Christ. That didn't happen three hundred years after the death of Christ. It was only a few years later. Just because we dont have anything written about Christ until tree hundred years later now doesnt mean there was things written about him at the time. Just because history is written about three hundred years later doesnt mean it is not true. If that was the case we may as well throw out all new text books.

I have seen so many posted questions lately refering to some insane notion that if you dont believe in God, or if there isnt a god to worship and a heaven or an afterlife, then there isnt a point to living? Are you guys serious? I mean do you really believe that?

Thats so weak and sick and narrow minded I dont know even have a clue where to begin with that.

except abu bakr when he told them of going to the doom of the rock the year was 620ad construction on the doom of the rock started 687a.d. was it a rope or latter or rope that allah lower down from the first heaven so mohammad could climb up, what did mohammad say to get allah to lower daily prayers from 50 a day to 5 , mohammad stated allah had to go do his night prayers who was he praying too. mohammad went to paridise and saw the people there he then went to hell and found it full of mostly women does that mean that the day of judgement has already happened. help the more i read the more confused

when I was little we said the word "hell" in Sunday school a lot, and we also said virgin (we said these words during our lessons) most non-Christian people don't let their kids say these words,the Bible includes many innapropriate things, but it has that to teach right from wrong, how come non-Christian people don't allow their kids to learn the word "hell" or "virgin"

I am uncomfortable with the hateful rhetoric from mosque leaders, even here in the U.S. I am appalled that mothers of martyrs think it is honorable to give up their children, they cannot possibly love them. What if there is no afterlife? Really, no human can know that. Remember how Rome fell - apathy.

......For the sake of a good debate, men: is it possible for you to love ONE WOMAN....and stay true to her (not being with anyone else....ever.) ALL YOUR LIFE? Forsaking all others, keeping yourself unto her all the days of your life?

Women: Is it possible for you to, give up your independence for the sake of a man? And to love him with all your heart, and for saking all others....keep yourself unto him all the days of your life?

Now, God makes it pretty clear that we should be able to keep ourselves pure (away from sex) until marriage. And then within marriage, never have sex with another person. I don't personally put a lot of stock into this. I know that God's word is 100% truth. But really, in the world today, is it possible for a young man to keep himself pure? And a young woman to be willing to follow her husband...and make him the head of the house?

Just curious ya'lls take on it.

With all respect to you atheists/agnostics/evolutionists, if there is not higher power or god then why are we here on Earth? If there is no afterlife then what is the point of living, and how did we get here to begin with. Primordial soup is very very very hard to explain how you got matter out of nothing and etc., so if you believe that please explain your reasoning?

If you are atheist or dont believe in a god, why?
