Are the Muslims trying to take over the U.S. & the world?

I am uncomfortable with the hateful rhetoric from mosque leaders, even here in the U.S. I am appalled that mothers of martyrs think it is honorable to give up their children, they cannot possibly love them. What if there is no afterlife? Really, no human can know that. Remember how Rome fell - apathy.

Which Muslim women give their children for martyrdom? Where does Islam support such an act? The Quran says to LOVE and appreciate your children (both male and female children are equal blessings for Muslims); the Quran says not to kill your children no matter what, not due to hunger and not due to anything else. So, what makes you think that these uneducated Muslims are doing the right thing Islamically?

Muslims don't have to TRY to take over the world, buddy; Islam is winning converts to itself WITHOUT compulsion (the Quran says "Let there be no compulsion in religion; the True Path is clearer from the Wrong one..." 2:256). It's gaining converts due to its logic, reasoning, and apparent Truth :D!
Oh, just so you know, since Islam doesn't permit compulsion in religion, then any Muslim who DOES force Islam upon someone else is BREAKING God's Law; and certainly, God is Just to those who break His Laws.
And taking over the U.S. and the world??!! LOL!! Wouldn't you supposed Christians are the ones doing that? It's the Christian countries invading innocent Muslim countries, claiming the innocent countries need "democracy" when it itself has no clue of what "democracy" means. It's always been the Christian countries invading other countries (America ITSELF belonged to those innocent Native Americans, but the Europeans took over it!!!!!). Now please tell me who's taking control of the world.

Totally agree... Iove the liberals making every excuse that this will not help the situation.... If we get back a shred of morality in this nation it will go a long ways in the muslim world... In some ways I say let the muslims invade to eliminate all the liberals... I would probably be a slave but at least I won't have to listening to the whining society trashing liberals... I can say all this because I was raised by lunatic liberals that did not no what right and wrong were...

According to the Quran, "There is no compulsion in religion" (2:256), thus, no one can be forced to become a Muslim. While it is true that in many places where Muslim armies went to liberate people or the land, they did carry the sword as that was the weapon used at that time. However, Islam did not spread by the sword because in many places where there are Muslims now, in the Far East like Indonesia, in China, and many parts of Africa, there are no records of any Muslim armies going there. To say that Islam was spread by the sword would be to say that Christianity was spread by guns, F-16's and atomic bombs, etc., which is not true. Christianity spread by the missionary works of Christians. Ten-percent of all Arabs are Christians. The "Sword of Islam" could not convert all the non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries. In India, where Muslims ruled for 700 years, they are still a minority. In the U.S.A., Islam is the fastest growing religion and has 6 million followers without any sword around.

Unless your a person of power, we can only do what you have done--well, express our thoughts, and vote. We live in difficult times, where unbelievable events occur, and cause the unthinking to change their opinion in seconds. But then again, the unthinking probably call the thinkers cowards. And the answer to your question no the Muslims and not trying to take over it is the Christians since they are the ones going into Muslim land over and over to keep them under their control. let's being reasonable ,1st who are those u r pointing to as muslims in us and the world? there r many muslims groups.
2nd why r u afraid of them?? do u know them actually ,i mean have you met any muslims before?
3rd is the problem is muslims or islam??so what do u know about islam??
lastly , christians are leading the world now and we r going to the edge as i c all over the world .so we should learn more about people before judging them and judging the others religions. W.W.Bush and Pope are both christians ,but they are different, i think.

No they are not. That is what is portrayed by the media to put fear into people. how can they be trying to take over the world...look at Iraq and the middle east...arent israel and the US taking that over? If you actually search for info on Iraq and see what is actually happening there (not what is shown on your local news) you will see the US and forces have destroyed a nation and its people. killing innocents and then making themselves look to be the ones in danger. If anything America is trying to rule the world...not muslims

I don't know that it's muslims specifically, but every 3rd world country is trying to take over America via massive immigration... In past generations everyone who immigrated was expected to become and american and leave their old country and heritage behind, but this new generation of immigrants expects to preserve their old countrys culture here.
