The Word of God says that we should not forsake to assemble ourselves together with fellow believers. It does not say that you will go to hell because of it but if God ask you to do something and you know you should(and you love Him), why not be obedient ? May God BLess U.

Going to church does not give you eternal life. Also, just believing does not do the same. A relationship with GOD, keeping HIS commandments, etc. must be a part of the package. Visiting a building once a week does very little. However, if you are a Christian, why would you not go to church?
GOD bless

No.
But Listen, when you get Saved, YOU are Part of "The Church", the Body of Christ on the Earth.
What we call Church is really just a Building that THE CHURCH meets in (assembles).
If Two or More Gather in MY Name, there I (Jesus) will be.
I gathered together in Jesus's Name with 3 Other Children of GOD and my Ankle was Healed Instantly!
If you don't Gather with your Brother's and Sister's in Christ every now and Then, you are Really Missing out on some Good Things from GOD Almighty.
You'll Still go to Heaven though, if you don't.

I'm a youth Sunday school teacher. No you don't have to attend church to go to Heaven. However people go to church to strengthen their beliefs and be around other believers for comfort and support. I think you should so others can pray for you and help you through tough times. Take care and remember once a person accepts Jesus as their savior and lord they are forgiven and set free. Watch this and always remember God is with you all day everyday. www.mayyoubeblessedmovie.com

Going to Church does not mean that you are going to Heaven or not. Going to Church is for believers who want to grow in their relationship with God. If your real question was, "How do I know I am going to Heaven?" Then you can know that for sure. What is your idea of " God" do you believe that Jesus came 2,000 years ago and died for your sins? That you are in fact a sinner and can only be saved by a merciful God's forgiveness? Then you are going to Heaven. It's not about works it is about faith and repentance. And you don't need a building for that. If you know you are a sinner and you have repented then you don't have to hope you are forgiven you are! I don't want to preach at you, these are simply my beliefs. If you are looking for real answers I would look into C.S. Lewis's Case for Christianity and Screwtape Letters. I think those two books will answer a lot of questions for you. Hope that's helpful and blessings on your search and journey!

Even Satan "believes" in God. No, attending church won't get you into Heaven, the only way to Heaven is by trusting in Jesus and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior, and asking Him to save you and forgive you. I would pray that you say the sinners' prayer and are saved, and then you can find a good, Bible based church where you can grow in the Lord and learn there.

I don't understand "attending Church" as most people think of it. The Church is God's people. Not the building. The people of God are to associate with each other and hold meetings..., things like that. Simple stuff really - but the building thing is not THE Church.

No you do not have to attend a church to get to heaven!! The answer to that is the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our personal savior. God gave his only son for all of us. The word says whoever believes in him will have eternal life. stepping off from sin and asking the Lord into your life with your mouth confession released in faith with cover you in the blood of Christ and cleanse of our sin. The attendance of church helps us get fed on the word, being watched over by those Christ has anointed to pastor and help us grow in the word. It should be however a place that we learn how to apply the word not only to ourselves and bring out the gifts God has given us but to also edify each other, pray , intercede. But to say you may permanently stay a bench warmer is not accurate because we live outside four walls and they shouldn't contain us to the point we don't look outward to others from our place of worship. Many have become to religious and cant see past what their religion contains them to. You see the father wants some alone time too, he requires us to be in a quiet place worshipping and communing and praising what he does in our lives..Four walls dont mean much to me because what i do, is on a day to day basis not a Sunday thing. You could be instructed by the Lord to be in a season to be only around a few people that will help you grow,be your prayer partners, and help you perfect your gifts . But being in the word daily!! is what will strengthen you, develope a relationship with Christ!! find someone that will read and just hang with you and talk about what the word of God means to you. God is always ready to bring good friends to us!!

Haha..... believe it or not you don't have to go to church to go to Heaven. Church, however, is very important for the fellowship it provides. A person get into heaven by Acknowledging two things:
1. that Jesus is God
2. and of their sin nature (which they repent of)
it's as easy as that and most people can't believe getting into Heaven is that easy but it is..... getting into Heaven is something everyone is able to do..... if it was hard than only "ceratin" people would eb able to go and that wouldn't be fair, would it?
true believers in christ often LOVE going to church because it encourages them from the folly of the world around them. Repent means to feel such sorrow for sin or fault as to be disposed to change one's life for the better. Church is a great way to become a stronger man or woman in God. have a great day/night and I hope I answered your question :-) God bless

No, church attendance is not mandatory. However, it's a place where Christians can gather together to share in the glory of God and be uplifted. It's just a shame that most churches today don't get too excited over Jesus anymore.

The Bible says, "Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is." Gathering with others for true worship is a biblical requirement, because it is the most common forum that God has provided for people to commune and carry out His will on the earth. If you do not want to fellowship here, you really do not want to go to heaven. Heaven is one big eternal (unending) Church fellowship. If you do not enjoy Church here, are you going to enjoy it in heaven?
Do you want to please God? It makes God happy if you to go to Church. Why? It's His House, and He loves to entertain YOU. He would love for YOU to help Him maintain His House, so that when others come to visit there will be someone there in person to welcome and extend to them the things that God has prepared for mankind.
How about it? Will YOU answer this high calling and make God happy to see His House alive and utilized?
Church going does not replace personal, quiet scheduled times with God, and vise-versa.
