because life itself would not be able to survive if it wasn't able to change and adapt.

Because our Creator determined that the longer we live, the more corrupt we become.

Since I am 69 and have many discomforts from age, death is necessary, the pains get worse the older I get.

I am far from disabled, but I go to bed at night in pain and wake up in pain.
It eases up some during the day.

However, when I leave this pain racked body, I will live in a new and perfect body with no pain or discomfort.

I would disagree with those that believe we have no purpose once we have raised our kids.
In the process of having kids, and raising kids, we don't have the time to love our spouses as we should.
We need some time after child raising to enjoy each other like we did before we had kids.

Every minute, every second, we are experiencing that living entities are going to the temple of death, either man, animal, ant, so many. This world is called therefore "the planet for death."
"As sure as death." If there is any surety in this world, that is death. Nobody can avoid it. You are under the grip of nature. Nobody wants to die, but he is slaughtered. So long you are in the material world, you are simply dying. This is a place for suffering.
What is the answer of these animals who are going to be slaughtered? Animals don't have an answer. As a human being we must have an answer.
Nobody wants to die. That means death is unnatural to the eternal soul.

It is sad. It is not natural, but the Bible says we die because of sin. (Romans 5:12). Now, there is a reason for this and there is also hope to have our loved ones back. Why would you want to spend eternity trapped in a human body on this planet with these people. I can't wait to die and be transformed in Heaven and spend the rest of eternity at the feet of my God worshipping him and learning of all his eternal wonders.

Box me up, I ready to go now !

what a great question! we die because of the sin within us. When adam sinned all human kind forever fell! i know it sounds sad and depressing but there is a hope in Jesus! who ever believes in him get eternal life. If your not christian this probably sounds like a fairy tale but it's not.... this is how our history really happend. relax, you are soooo loved by a great and all powerful creator (Jesus). Anyways back to your question.... we die because all men have sinned all fall short in the glory of God.... none of us are perfect so none of us live forever..... but through Jesus dude we get to live forever! everyone dies with the exception of those who live during the rapture. have a great day/night! and God bless :-)

I don't believe that we do. I believe that the spirit (our true selves) leaves the physical body, but that is not the end.

I believe that life is eternal. It just takes a different form.

The flesh grows old and decays because it's not designed to last forever. We just use it temporarily here in the physical world, but the true self (spirit) moves on to a higher existence.

to show those that are left behind how valuable living is..........there's a CW song that says to live like you where dying, and its very true, don't deny forgiveness that you have been meaning to give, don't not spend the day with a close friend or relative putting it off for another day may be too late.

because there is appointed time to everything. we are here to learn to grow up in the Lord so that when our time is over we will live eternally with him. but the other reason is if you think about it the world would be extremely crowded if everyone lived forever.
