I shoveled the elderly gals driveway this morning (it was -7 degrees).

Sad to say, but we are new in the neighborhood and my immediate next door neighbors are rarely home. I'd have to venture out a few houses down and say, I've helped by watching the kids and listening to people pour their hearts out. Whatever is needed, I'd like to help if I can. I have also been on the receiving end. Our dog ran away and I had two women drive around for over an hour trying to help me. Others have called to inquire about the dog. All of them complete strangers who have become my friends because of their kindness.

Their middle child had pneumonia so I made a pot of chicken and dumplings. They have three kids the mom didn't need to cook dinner and take care of a sick little one. She's always there if I need to go talk too.

I have prayed for them and their family that doesn't live with them. I will continue to pray for anyone that is in need of prayer.
