Who wants to bet people will follow this fool again?

Haha I read that, and found it the most amusing bit of news I have read in a while. You can't just become straight through therapy, you're born a certain way, I doubt just a few weeks of therapy would make him straight. Therapy just supports the idea that being gay is a condition or disease, one of the most erroneous assumptions ever.

I'm sure there will be people that follow him. Maybe not as many as before, but a few at least.

According to the news story he won't be doing any kind of leadership for sometime.

However, I wouldn't be suprised if he is let back into a minstry leadership position. There is such thing as restoration and forgiveness. However, his fall wasn't just a small one, he did build a 14,000 member church. He would be better off never to lead again.

I won't take that sucker's bet. Anyone who believes a word from this man's mouth is a fool at best. This man is proof that religion is a charlatan's sanctuary.

And his "therapy" was with other ministers, was it not? Personally, I've had "therapy" with ministers when I was a teenager and I was completely ineffective because they approach everything from a religious standpoint, not a psychological standpoint and Mr. Haggard really needs psychotherapy, not religious discussions with other ministers.

Funny you should say that. Scientology claims it can cure homosexuality with therapy. That's the main reason why Tom Cruise joined.

You know...if it wasn't for Christianity having this stupid hangup about gays, it wouldn't MATTER whether he's gay or straight.
